Insurance agencies do not pay any fees to participate in Express Markets and a full 100% commission is paid directly to your agency by the carriers. Through the Express Markets program, you'll have access to over 35 Specialty lines insurance markets.

SmartChoice has made the transition from agent to owning an independent agency very smooth and easy. Kim Carney, my representative, has helped me through every step and is always there to answer my questions. SmartChoice has made it easy to contract with a variety of carriers that would not have been possible on my own. For me, SmartChoice was a very Smart Choice.

I can't say enough for them! I am a small, independent agency and I was seeking access to personal lines carriers for home and auto. I do not have many direct appointments so I thought I'd give "Smart Choice" a try. I've now been writing all of my personal lines business with them for the last 3 years. The reasons why? They have access to admitted carriers with favorable rates and they answer the phone!!! If you need access and know what you are doing, smart choice is the way to go. I currently use them for their smart start program to write with carriers for which I do not have the capacity or appetite to get appointed with. Keep in mind this is not a learn to be an insurance agent company; they do not have much training nor back end support; they provide access and quick response to quotes which is what I needed.

I can not say enough good things about Smart Choice. It was one of the best things for my agency. They are always on top of the game and they are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and ALWAYS available. My Reps call to check on us, encourage us and congratulate us on a job well done. They have some great companies to work with and without being part of Smart Choice a lot of those companies my agency would not have access to. Smart Choice was probably the best decision we made for our business. Cannot say enough good things about them, especially Spencer Witcher. They go above and beyond for the independent agent and really take a personal approach to your business and how to succeed for both sides. The only wish I have was that we signed up with them a lot sooner. Either way, glad to have made the move and excited to see what else we can accomplish together moving forward. (Did I mention Spencer is the best, just making sure!!!)

We have been a Smart Choice Agent for more than 10 years. During that time we have been granted access to markets that we would not other wise be able to get to. Our reps are helpful, knowledgeable and quick to inform us of new products, and offerings. I would highly recommend Smart Choice to not only seasoned insurance agents/agencies, but start ups as well. I have been with Smart Choice for over two years and they have done done an excellent job at providing me with appointments and everything I need to be a successful Independent Insurance Agency. They have given me the tools needed to succeed. Besides the appointments they also have express markets for hard to place clients and they also have options like Smart Start for risks you may not have a commercial appointment for.
