Downtown Sewing Machine

Small business, family owned, but stuffed with goodies. Polite, sincere, knowledgeable assistance. She is moving this business into a larger space, just up the street, can't wait to see what she has in store. My wife and I visit often. Everyone provided my dad and I excellent service with selecting and equipping my new sewing machine with everything I needed for the projects I want to make. They were super knowledgeable and I left the store with confidence. And I'm sure I'll be back for fabrics in the future! Way better than a large-name crafting company.

I will say, I bought some fabric and a cutting tool. I will also say as a man the employee ignored me and then was at best luke warm. I will not be returning to this shop. Men quilt and we also have money, just like the ladies.

Told me they would look at it the same day I dropped it off, before I leave in case it just needs cleaning, because, I'm from out of state..I only come to Vegas every few months.. Told me also to let them know when I'm coming into town the next time to have it ready.. None of these were done.. And, to top it off they put a sticker from their business on my machines to "remind me where I went." If I wanted a sticker on my machine, I'd have took it to a vinyl shop! If your gonna tell me what your gonna do and don't do it, I can't trust you. Plain and simple. Took 6 weeks to clean and replace a bobbin

I not only bought my last sewing machine from Carrie but they have also been servicing it ever since. In fact, I just got it back and it is like a brand new machine. I wouldn't take my sewing machine to anyone else. She has always been straightforward with me about how long it will take and updating me if there has been a problem. She is the greatest.

The customer service at this store is terrible. Being a small store and we are big supporters of shopping local this makes me very sad. My mother purchased an expensive embroidery machine that she could have purchased at any large chain, she purchased here with some freebies that came with it from Brother. These items were backordered. The only way we found this out was by stopping by. We asked her to check the status several times over the next few weeks which she repeatedly said she would with a terrible attitude. The final call she stated “you’ll get it when it gets there”...incredibly

I stopped in because I'm looking for upholstery fabric for a new sofa slip cover. The **NICEST LADIES** were in there. They didn't have the fabric I need, but took the time to provide me the information for some alternate shops and told me to check back in with them if I still needed help. When my quilting fabric moratorium is up I'll be in here looking for more. Small businesses make our communities better. Thank you ladies!
