Let's admit it, there are a lot of DJ services. Actually, too many. Some are new, some are established. Many just getting started via social media. Different price ranges, different experience levels, different abilities. A different value for the customer. Some plan and organize details so you don't get overwhelmed.
Instead of a simple yes / no on taking requests, we have developed 4 different ways to handle requests. It is totally up to you as you do the planning. Keep in mind that an event DJ can only do about 55-60 songs during a wedding. Consider what could happen to your dance floor when a DJ is handed 25-40 songs and is limited to have the ability to "read" the crowd that night.
The music will fit your crowd's personality and your vision. From Oldies to Top 40, Pop, Dance and Motown. You'll choose styles of music from 70s Retro to Classic Rock, and from Country to Big 80s. From Swing to Hip Hop and R&B, and Big Band to Specialty tunes. We'll perform the evening's music in an original way to give you the show that we've built our reputation on.
Systems are recommended for each event, differing in size. This is based on the crowd size, ballroom size, and ultimately what the client is looking to accomplish with their event i.e. We focus on concert and tour production technology designed for clarity and smooth sound coverage. Some of the very same processors and components are used on tour and in major productions.

DJ made us meet with him for several hours and fill out a 6 page packet. You'd think things would run smoothly, however, they did not. After arriving to the reception the wedding party waited in the hallway to be introduced for well over half-hour causing dinner to be delayed. We were furious. The bridge had to tell him several times throughout the night to make certain announcements. HE PLAYED THE WRONG FIRST DANCE SONG. After emailing him how upset we were he responded with nothing but excuses and said our song choices were questionable. He is very rude, pompous and incompetent. NOT WORTH THE

Joe and his team were fantastic to work with for our wedding! They were really thorough in not only knowing what we wanted, but also really getting to know our guests to make sure they appealed to the whole crowd. I have been to lots of weddings, and I have NEVER seen the dance floor that full for the whole night! We had people dancing from 4 years old to 70 years old! (Not an easy task for a DJ :) ) The lighting and set was perfect too. Not like a disco club, but created a really fun vibe.
