Knoxies is by far the best restaurant in this area and it's located in the greatest hotel in Maryland! The staff remembers us always and has our special table ready! Ceroy is the head chef at Knoxies and also knows how to shuck the best oysters! The food is always incredible and fresh, the ingredients are from their own garden on the property. Thank you Ceroy for the incredible dining experience and Michelle, Courtney, Kane, Rachel and everyone at the Inn for always making our time here so special!

After several failed reservation attempts at other restaurants, my fiancé and I found ourselves at Knoxie's for our anniversary dinner. I must say, I am so glad that the other places didn't work out. We've eaten here before, but last night was one of the best meals I'd had in awhile. We started with calamari and cream of crab soup, both were fantastic. The soup is rice and we both agreed that it is the best cream of crab soup around. I had the filet, which was so tender and cooked perfectly. He thoroughly enjoyed the swordfish. We ended with the donut ice cream sandwich, which

Love, love, love the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Knoxie’s Table is a farm to table type restaurant that has small plates and larger entree type offerings. The menu is seasonal and focuses on local sources. Get the soft shell crab as an appetizer and the cioppino, you won’t be disappointed.
The Market is great for grab and go or quick meals. My favorite is the turkey avocado sandwich for lunch and the biscuit breakfast sandwich with egg, cheddar cheese, and avocado (what can I say? 😂)
The food is delicious and you’ll want to try it all, so make sure to book a room in their luxurious hotel

What a wonderful place to have a wedding! Everything was so beautiful and such a gorgeous panoramic setting on all sides. The staff was exceptional and very attentive and friendly. One individual Jeff Goldsboro was a shining star. He was warm and hospitable and anticipated our needs at the table before we did if that were possible.
The food was delicious every appetizer and the meal was exceptionally beautifully prepared delicious and we felt as if we were dining in a fine restaurant.
Well done Chesapeake Bay Beach club!

We had booked our big day for 8.29.2020. We fell in love with the stunning views and well kept venues at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Could not have imagined anything better! Further, my day of coordorinator, Samantha was wonderful. She was friendly, positive, and responsive. It was clear to my husband and I that CBBC has everything well organized and planned. Unfortunately our ceremony ended up postponed due to Covid restrictions, and over that time Samantha was out on leave. Although it was a time of great uncertainty for all, CBBC lacked communication and demanded we reduce our guest count to

Terrific restaurant a stones throw from the Bay Bridge. Call ahead to ensure they're open and if you need a reservation just in case. We had an amazing dinner with Theresa and her wonderful young bus boy. The drink abs wine menu is quite large and the bars are beautiful. Good wine by the glass selection. Lots on the main menu but great specials. We enjoyed everything but the crab soup was an incredible standout which could be a full meal. The crab cake dinner was excellent, burger and fries great, salad and crab fitters delicious. We

My wife and I happily recommend Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for your wedding ceremony (or any event really) - they've done a great job adjusting to the pressures and constantly changing guidelines of the COVID pandemic and didn't seem at all phased by any changes or deviations in the original plans (weather included).
The day of the wedding was seamless - my wife and I were very well taken care of and, for all the stress during the planning and build-up, the day of was remarkably stress-free.
We worked with Erin and Marta, who were both phenomenal and made sure our special day was just that - thanks

This is a nicely appointed restaurant located in a boutique hotel. The food AMS service are above average to good and the dining experience is overall good. The restaurant comes close to breaking out of the hotel-feel but not quite. I recommend this restaurant especially for this market area. In its geography, it will likely be your best choice for fine dining.

Generous portions! After ordering the tuna poke and calamari bowl to share for the 2 of us, we were too full to order 2 entrees so ended up sharing one. The tuna poke presentation was very nice...could have used an acid of some sort, like marinating the cucumbers in rice vinegar to really brighten the dish. Similarly, we really appreciated inclusion of fried zucchini and pepperoncini in the calamari bowl, and the tomato olive caponata topping was heavenly, but providing lemon wedges to squeeze on top of the dish would have helped to round out the flavors. The sea bass was really well executed

Great little bakery in the heart of gritty Olean. The walnut raisin bread on their Turkey sandwich is Luigi's bread- quite excellent. (Find out about his bread if u don't know about it!) Turkey sandwich is the best thing we've had --- well, that and a slice of the to-doe-for dark chocolate cake. The pastries look heavenly, as well, but we haven't yet tried them. The salad with chicken, walnuts & apples was pretty tasty. There was some grilled chicken sandwich we got one time that wasn't that good. If we ate red meat, I'd definitely want to try the steak sandwich

This was one of the best meals we've had in a while. We stayed overnight and had dinner during Covid, something we really haven't been doing. I was so happy to see how spaced out the tables were - there wasn't anyone even remotely close to us. Great whiskey & bourbon list, great cocktails and the best crab dip I've ever had. The filet with crab was SO GOOD. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Delayed review! My parents and I were heading to the Bay Bridge to catch the last summer sunset and wanted to grab dinner first. We got to Hemingways around 5 PM and they already had a 45 minute wait. Luckily, I called Knoxie's and they were able to hold a table outside for us. Success!
We had a socially distanced table outside and a super nice waiter. We were in a bit of a rush and he was able to make sure we could order, eat, and pay super quickly. We shared the:
-Calamari Bowl: Yum! By bowl, they mean platter. Lots of crispy calamari and the pepperoncini added the perfect touch.

This restaurant was conveniently located inside our resort. The resort was aesthetically appealing and so is this restaurant. It was a rainy evening, so we didn't want to venture outside if we didn't have to.
Our servers name was Kim and she was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, humorous, personable and pleasant. Her meal recommendations were spot on. I had this "out of this world" rockfish dish. My wife had crab soup that she couldn't stop raving about.
Even the drinks were made to perfection. I enjoyed a few "Tom Collins" that helped me wind down for

We had a delightful dinner at Knoxie's table a few weeks ago. Our server was funny and attentive, the terrace was nicely spaced for social distancing. However the food was just meh, we started with the crab dip, which was a little tart and a little runny for me, also not much crab. For my meal I had the special which was a Rockfish with crab and asparagus. It wasn't bad but was definitely lacking in flavor. My husband got the scallops which he said were tender but he didn't care for the grits. The sides followed the same flavor profile which was pretty bland. I was definitely disappointed

I came here on my birthday, an August Sunday evening, with my family. We sat outside - they have a pretty patio area. The server was attentive. The smoked salmon deviled eggs appetizer was very good. I had scallops and risotto, and they were both good, but not especially memorable. Overall, it's a good meal (somewhere between 4-5 stars-worthy) and the ambiance is really nice. The chocolate peanut butter pie is very rich!

We were here for a wedding and a brunch. They did a wonderful job of catering to our needs at each of the events. It’s a sprawling complex with one set of buildings next to Route 50 and another set a half mile away on the bay. Make sure you have good directions so you don’t end up walking a ways. One challenge I had was that they are a bit of a wedding “factory” with a number of events simultaneously. Also the entry of the main faculty is a bit like a Cracker Barrel where they force you to walk through a small store to impulse buy touristy items.

Pretty good. Restaurant attached to the hotel and market. Outdoor seating (no dogs allowed) amongst a nice community area to walk around.
Complimentary bread includes biscuits and banana bread with butter and jams. The banana bread was awesome and they were really generous about giving us more.
The crab omelette was pretty good- light hollandaise, the eggs were alittle underpoached, but I liked the collection of crab meat piled next to the egg/biscuit. The bread was moist and flavorful, and the potatoes were really good - crispy, some caramelized onions and hint of Old Bay seasoning.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with dinner at Knoxie's.
My wife and I have visited The Inn's Market Cafe a few times for breakfast and dessert (pie) and the experience has been great at hello to good bye.
Unfortunately, Knoxie's did not live up to the hype or the 4.5 rating on Yelp.
Here is our experience from start to finish:
1. We made a reservation and checked in with the hostess who immediately found our name and escorted us to our table. The check-in with the hostess went well.
2. Immediately after being seated a gentleman came out and poured water for the table, prior to leaving

Bottom Line: My favorite Eastern Sho' restaurant serving consistently delicious Maryland and southern inspired cuisine.
Knoxie's Table is one of my favorite restaurants! For starters, I love the decor and cozy fireplace. The dining room is comfy and they start turning their Southern charm on me right away with bread and pimento cheese. Ya'll sure so know how to remind me of my beloved grandmother.
My husband and I have been to Knoxie's once for brunch and many times for dinner. We've worked our way through the menu and everything has been delicious. Among the most

We are so happy that we chose the CBBC for our wedding on August 19th. All of the staff there are amazing and so accommodating! Yes, the venue is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for! The service, food, drinks, and overall atmosphere there makes every penny worth it. I recommend going to the tasting that occurs before each wedding season. We got to try all of the delicious appetizers, meals, and got a feel for what the Sunset Ballroom would look like with 200 people. This helped us a lot in picking out all of our items from the menu.
