Complete Physical Rehabilitation provides Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, and Wellness services in Elizabeth and Jersey City and is committed to the best outcomes for our patients. Creating specialized and individualized Physical Therapy treatment programs for each patient that are catered towards their individual daily lifestyles.
As a practice committed to helping patients be pain-free, we are always accepting resumes from those therapy and administrative staff who pride themselves on accepting new challenges and who have a strong desire to help others. After an acute episode of an earache, I experienced dizziness for 3 years. It was difficult for me to walk down the street without feeling afraid of tripping and falling. It was quite debilitating. But now I can walk the streets with confidence & no longer feel dizziness while walking. If so, you are most likely experiencing a Vestibular problem.
My daily life has improved very much so since I've done Physical Therapy. My balance is much better since I came here, and my pain level is significantly lower as well. Gaining and regaining our balance is a lifelong process. Have you ever watched a baby learn how to walk? We simultaneously cheer and worry as they struggle to maintain their balance as they wobble across the floor.

If I ever need physical rehab, Complete Physical Rehab is the only place I go. I’ve recently had total knee replacement. Two days after the surgery I came to Complete Physical Rehab to begin the process of the recovery. The care I receive here is first rate. I’m already a full range of motion and working on strengthening the muscles. My surgeon is amazed at the progress I have made under their care.I highly recommend Complete Physical Rehab for anyone who needs physical therapy.

This place is amazing I had an accident on November 9,2021 and I was doing therapy in another place and I wasn’t happy. I told my workers comp to find me a better place and I got this one and I can only say is that everyone is amazing, front desk they make you feel welcome, the therapists are amazing I will recommend this place a 100 percent I just had surgery and the massages and the exercises are great, if they think you are not ready for them the Dr will let the therapist to take it easy on you and give them the exercises that you can handle. Massages are amazing I still have my stitches and

I love coming here cause they go far and beyond in making you feel better, from pain. When I first came here I was in so much pain and walking with a cane, I could barely walk, but with the therpy they giving me, I am feeling so much better. Not using my cane any more, walking better and not in so much pain any more. I will not let my pain defeat me. And everybody that works here are so nice, I recommend everybody to come here.

Ms. Lu was very effective in securing an appointment and identifying a time slot which was convenient for me to see the Doctor. I can't believe it took me so long to review CPR. It's been THE place I have relied on several times to help deal with chronic and acute injuries (back issues, shoulder and elbow issues). Dr. James and his staff are warm, thoughtful and truly care about their craft.

I waited TOO long to visit a Physical Therapist for my physical ailments from years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Tennis, Dance, and more, and i must say...

Dr. Stefan Paul took this battered body of mine and made me feel brand new. Upon stepping in, you are welcomed by a friendly receptionist that provided clarity on the first steps of the day. I felt a little nervous about what was to come, but Dr. Paul, who was on time, friendly, and overall very educational, welcomed me and guided me into the room he would work his magic.

I was with Dr. James for several months after a large surgery to my upper right quad. I was barely able to walk going into my first session and was able to walk with a proper gait not long after. Dr. James designed a specialized plan for me that worked. A mix of strength exercises, stretching, and plenty of time in the Alter-G helped immensely.
I would not be in as good of shape today if it weren't for their whole team.

I worked with Dr. James following an elbow arthroscopy and hamstring injury from Judo. He is extremely knowledgeable and continues to research and learn, ensuring that he is always up to date with the current practices and methodologies. We find that Humberto and James, the physical therapists are very knowledgeable and compassionate. They know exactly what to do when you arrive for your first visit. They supervise all your therapies, massages, and stim sessions.
There are very knowledgeable and pleasant interns working for them as well. They are always very polite and extremely helpful.

I (and my knees and arm) thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Complete Physical Rehab in Jersey City. Dr. James and Humberto and the rest of the staff created such a warm and welcoming environment perfect for rehabilitation. They spent plenty of time thoughtfully answering my questions and explaining complex ideas simply. They had everything I needed for my rehab, including (and I didn't even know this existed) an anti-gravity treadmill (Alter-G). It's really impressive!
I really enjoyed my experience at this office and would highly recommend it to everyone!

I had a nerve pinch around my shoulder last year and as a consequence had lost strength in my right hand and was suffering from pain that radiated from my shoulder to my arm. This over a period in time worsened and resulted in numbness on my fingers which were impacting everything that I did.
I went to Complete Rehab early this year and met Dr. Humberto who patiently heard my story and diagnosed issue with my neck and my right shoulder. I had such a great first experience at CPRNJ (Jersey City location) that I'm sure I'll be back again!
I came in to try their AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill (not for PT), and it was absolutely amazing! Basically, the AlterG is a treadmill with a huge kind of balloon compartment that fills up with air to decrease the force of gravity by as much as 20% to 100% of your body weight. Many people use it as part of their PT rehab, but they also treat and train athletes (especially runners) with this treadmill. The reduction of gravity lowers the amount of work and pressure exerted on your body

I had to write an update. I recently had to have major ankle surgery, where the doctor said I would need up to 6 months of intensive physical therapy, and no guarantee that I would be able to get back to running marathons. I so happy to report that not only am I back to running marathons, but it's almost like I never had surgery. I'm just so thankful to Dr. James and his staff. Very rude and unprofessional receptionist. Would not make an appointment without insurance number even though I told her I was in a lot of pain and could not get it during the call. I indicated the insurance name I had and in any case, would pay cash if they didn't accept my insurance. She was not logical in her response; very rude and just kept "stating policy" that she could not book appointment without first verifying insurance number. You just lost a client.

I went to see Complete when I had a badly herniated disc in my lower back. Paired with other conservative treatment (acupuncture and acupressure) I was doing at the time, the physical therapy was a huge help in relieving my pain and played a big role in eventually getting back to "normal." I was most impressed by Dr. Pumarada's calm and caring demeanor. He's got great bed-side manners and is very much an optimistic individual -- definitely helped me get through the sometimes challenging/uncomfortable exercises.
