We traveled to the Baraboo area Labor Day weekend. I found Willowood while doing a search for mom and pop motels. I am so glad I found the listing! This is a charming motel with retro vibes. Our room was small but adequate for the two of us. Decor was charming. Loved the tulip chairs outside our door. Quiet. Peaceful. Devils Lake was a short drive down the road (could actually walk there). Right off the main drag with easy access to destinations. Owner is beyond friendly and helpful. I look forward to making this a regular destination.

A diamond in the rough. Fantastic, cozy and friendly place to stay. Quiet and relaxing grounds. The room was great. Wonderfully decorated, clean and comfortable. So much more peaceful and a lot less tress then staying in the Dells. Devils Lake Park is a minute away. 10-15 minutes to the Dells. Me and my wife decided we are making this are go to place when we come back to visit the area again.
