Our visiting foot doctors have all of the necessary instruments and supplies to handle most foot and ankle conditions that are seen in the office.
This can also be seen on the top of the toe from rubbing on the shoes and be referred to as a corn. These can be painful with walking and with wearing shoe-gear. If you do have a foot deformity that my lead to more pressure in a certain area, the use of orthotics and padding are great modalities to keep pressure from these areas.

These sprains generally occur in a plantarflexed and inverted position. The ankle ligaments are important in providing stability to the ankle joint and consist of the collateral ankle ligaments and the deltoid ligaments. Patients generally present with swelling, bruising and instability of the ankle when injury occurs, and have a difficult time putting weight on the foot and ankle.
The ingrowing nail itself is called onychocryptosis. Although it is more common to find this condition in the first great toe it can also happen to any toe that is crowded by the shoe or other toes. This becomes a more serious problem when the toe becomes infected, appearing red and swollen. This is a problem that occurs in patients of any age and activity level.
