It all started in 1890, when great grandfather, Robert Case Sr. opened Case Farms and grew produce which was sold in local supermarkets and processing facilities like Lyndon Products in Ontario. In the mid 1950s, when Robert and his wife Sybil died in an auto accident, Jerry Case's father took over the farm along with his mother, Dolores.
Dolores had a small roadside stand in front of the family house(at that time 2593 Norton St) where she sold baskets of tomatoes & peaches, strawberries, corn and whatever other veggies in season. The farm was run by Jerry Sr. with the help of his sons, Jerry, Don and Bob.

My review is for the public market stand, but I imagine the stuff at their standard location is just as good. I've been buying all of my green vegetables here August-December for the last few years. Absolute best basil or kale one can find in Rochester, and plenty of herbs and peppers as well. I wish I had a garden (I live in an apartment) just so I could grow some of the herbs they sell earlier in the season.

As a huge succulent freak, Case cannot be beat. It's easy to pass it over from the road since it doesn't exactly have the most welcoming entrance, but I can assure you that this is a place worth stopping at, even if it's to stroll through the greenery. Everything is reasonably priced: I got two huge, healthy succlents for ten dollars total, far less than what a bigger chain would sell succlents of their size for. Highly recommend checking them out.
