Services
Current hours are 10am-5:30pm, Monday -Saturday & 10am-4pm on Sunday. We are following strict guidelines of cleanliness to make sure our staff and customers have a safe shopping environment at all times. We have several scheduled sales per year, and a few others that vary depending on schedule, weather and, well, how we feel!
We've been happily located in St. Helena for over 35 years. Originally called Upper Valley Ski and Tennis, we have evolved to become what we are today: a boutique style outdoor store focusing on Great Outdoor Clothing, Footwear and Accessories. We carefully curate our selection from quality vendors with our customers in mind.
Robert Louis Stevenson State Park Hiking is the main activity at this undeveloped park. A trail to the west climbs to the summit of Mount St. Helena, while trails to the east lead hikers below the volcanic cliffs of the Palisades. The view from the summit includes the nearby geyser country and when weather permits distant mountains such as Lassen, Shasta and the Sierra Nevada can be seen.

Sportago is like no other. The depth of knowledge of the clothing, footwear and equipment is 100% +. The Staff is also VERY good natured. Attention to detail when wrapping gifts and observing how to best serve Customers when busy and balance sharing product information at the same time is something to observe. It doesn't get any better!
