I have used Michaelson's for several years and have always had good service, until this latest incident with my ice maker. The service call was $125 for the inspection to determine what was wrong with the United and I was ok with that. Based on the tech inspection he informed me the censor to make the ice was installed backward and he reinstalled it and vacuum around the condenser for an additional cost of $125 plus sales tax.

I asked my wife if she possibly knocked off the censor tray when she pulled out the ice bucket and she stated she tried to put it back and installed it in the two

If a negative number could be used, I would. We have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher, thank goodness we got the extended warranty! Our problem (other than the dishwasher is not as advertised in reliability) is, when the warranty company calls Michaelson, it is always the previous call was not closed out. As a result, more time is wasted before a service claim can be generated. Even after that, it takes (roughly) 1 week to get a service person out, and then, they do not have the part....it "has to be special ordered from Kitchen Aid". Since when does a service center not have parts? In addition

Lowe's in North Port uses Michaelson's for warranty work. GE microwave went down, called Lowe's and Michaelson's scheduled a tech to check out the problem. They called giving us a time frame, then called again when he was 15 minutes out. Dan, their local guy from the North Port area, figured out the problem, ordered parts and about ten days later the parts arrived. A quick call to Michaleson's saw Dan back a day later - use between 8AM and 9 AM, he called about 730 and arrived just before 8 - finished at 831 AM (he set the clock) and was gone - professional, personal but business like and everything

I was quoted for a dual sealed system replacement @ an estimated labor time of 8 hours, I supplied all SUBZERO OEM parts, for $2,950.
I provided the labor to disassemble and reassemble the entire system, allowing the Tech to complete the job in UNDER 4 hours * (I have him on camera) with the agreement with the tech that they would discount the labor as required.
I was billed a full $2,950 for the sealed system repair meaning that i was billed $625/hr. After speaking to the manager, he says that they will not be re-funding me the labor, and that they are firm on their $2,950 price.
The tech broke

Our Jenn-air under the counter microwave needed fixing under the extended warranty we bought from Famous Tate. The repairman came and determined the parts needed and said it would take some time because of shipping problems. I called week after week to se what the status was and after many weeks I found the parts arrived but that Tates had to supply the 4 brackets necessary to mount the parts. I was never told this, I had to call and ask. I contacted Tates and a warranty rep told me that there were 10 parts distributors locally that they could get the parts. He never called back so I called and

Michaelson's is the best. The repairman, Dan, was here right on time at noon for a 12-4pm appt window. Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Excellent tech! He had to tear my dryer completely apart to get to the problem. He was done and out the door in under an hour. Impressive. Angela, on the customer service desk, took my call originally, was very friendly and efficient as well. My experience was top notch.

I booked a repair order 5 days ago for a refrigerator not working. They were mentioned from a colleague and since they mentioned them I decided I would wait instead of calling a less expensive more prompt service. Now that I read their reviews I am not surprised. They call 2 hours before my appointment stating they can not get here for an additional 2 DAYS and they wouldn't even try to reschedule someone who had been waiting less time. / I called a more reputable company that will be here tomorrow.

I HIGHLY recommend Michaelson's appliance repair! We were assigned this company through AHS after having previously been assigned to AirBoss. AirBoss was a horrible company to work with and never ended up showing up. Michaelsons was a breath of fresh air. It was easy to make an appointment. They were quick and efficient and my ice maker worked like new! They were extremely professional and on time.

I have a Fisher & Paykel dryer, this is the only authorized repair company. Paid $159/$89+ for service call, plus $431+ for the replacement of the electronic dryer board, that was Sept now Dec the dryer isn't working again. Less than 90 days later I have to pay another Svc call $89+ Warranty for manufacturer part is one year; however, have to pay the Svc charge again for them to look at warranty work. How does a brand new board become faulty in less than 90 days.... ugh. Customer Service was not helpful !!

After $600 guess it is time to buy another dryer.

I would like to share this as I would rate this company as The WORSE company I have ever dealt with. My story is below:
I had a Viking Professional 5 series refrigerator that had stop cooling around 7/10/19.
Called Viking Range LLC parts and service and they recommended Michaelson's as an authorized repair company.
The next day Gregg, one of their so called best tech was sent to trouble shoot the unit. Gregg from Michaelson's determined the problem.

He found it needed a serpentine, heat exchanger, evaporator and a compressor. Lucky me these parts were under warranty for 12 years and

We were quoted $90 trip fee plus $20-$60 to diagnose the issues with our appliances. Our credit card was charged $470 (!?!) and we've been trying to contact their "billing department" to resolve this via multiples calls and emails.

I am sorry to say that my last experience with Michaelson's was horrible. In June 2018 we had our Viking refrigerator door hinges replaced by Roy with Michaelson's. The hinges were covered under a recent recall. X months later, we noticed that the refrigerator door was again not closing tightly. I put in a call for follow-up service and I told them our refrigerator door was not closing properly due to the hinges. Roy responded to the service call and told me that the new set of hinges from Viking must have also been defective. Roy informed me that the office would contact Viking to replace

I see a lot of negative reviews of this company, but my experience with them was good. Roy came out and fixed our dishwasher. He was friendly and got the job done faster than I expected. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to prepay for the repairs, but I suppose it could be a common practice. I called Michaelson's this time because I've also called them within the past few years to fix my refrigerator. I remember having a pleasant experience with them, so we kept their refrigerator magnet handy in case we ever needed them again.
