Carley specializes in modern blonding techniques, balayage, curly hair, makeup applications, facial waxing, and gray coverage. She is also obsessed with clean beauty! She has always loved hair and makeup, and started working in the industry in 1999. Her connection with music lead her to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she was employed as a senior makeup artist at Sephora, LLC.
Finally, she moved to Chicago to attend the esteemed Aveda Institute of Cosmetology. She was so excited to sign with a modeling agency to provide on-location hair and makeup services for print, commercial, celebrity, fashion, and bridal. Carley is thrilled to return to her hometown of Kansas City and be a part of the amazing small business community in the revitalized Downtown Overland Park area.

Carley is so incredibly talented. She not only met my expectations but EXCEEDED them. I showed her a picture of the color I was hoping to get and she nailed it. Not only nailed it but it looks so much better from what I was expecting. My hair is so soft and feels so healthy. She really listens to what you want and takes her time to make sure you are happy! She colors my hair and also did my hair for my wedding. I walked into the salon and was immediately greeted warmly. I was a bit early and was expecting to wait but Carley was ready for me. We went over what I was wanting to do and I showed her a few pictures. Carley seemed confident she could achieve what I was looking for with my cut and highlights. Conversation flowed easily while she worked. The final product was exactly what I wanted! I also loved how she styled hair and she even gave me tips on how to curl my hair on my own at home. Bottom line... I highly recommend Carley!

It would feel selfish to other brides not to share with you ladies how incredibly talented Carley Martin is! I spent some time trying to find someone to do hair and makeup, and three different people flaked out on me in the middle of the process. I really wish I had contacted Carley sooner, because everything went completely perfectly. From first meeting with her at my trial I felt completely comfortable that she knew what she was doing. She is very personable and is great at explaining her process, why she uses what she uses, and asking lots of questions

I love Carley! I just recently took my first test shots for my new modeling agency. I was recommended by the photographer to ask Carley to be my Makeup Artist for the shoot. I did and l am so happy she was available on my short notice!

I've used Carley several times for hair and make up for various special occasions. She is not only prompt, professional and efficient but has become a great friend as well! Carley is super awesome! She did the hair and makeup for my sister's wedding this summer. She and her assistant who was there to help with hair (I can't recall her name but she was awesome too) were very friendly, professional, laid back and efficient. She listens to what you want and if you don't know and are up for anything, as I was, she does not disappoint. My mother had a completely random concern that her makeup was going to make her look like Madonna. But even my mother wanted to look like Madonna, Carley could have done it and made her look awesome. Carley is awesome at everything she does. I am always iffy about getting my make up done because I like a natural look but Carley has done my makeup for fun and for events and every time, I walk away glowing. She makes me look perfect and I get lots of compliments when I am out and about. I trust very few people to touch my eyebrows, but love it when she cleans me up. I haven't had my hair cut by Carley, but she has styled it and I always love my look when she is done.
I recommend her to my friends all the time for fun, weddings, etc.
