Robert Farina began his career in 1989 as the Sales & Marketing Director of one of New York's largest HVAC Company generating $11 Million annually. Rob started training in the indoor air quality industry years before the "green movement" evolved.
Indoor air pollution is the number one environmental health concern in the United States. The Environmental Protection Agency states that indoor air quality is 5-20 times more polluted than outdoors ~ EPA. In the last several years, a growing body of scientific evidence has indicated that the air in our homes and office buildings can be more seriously polluted than the outdoor air in even the largest and most industrialized cities.
RJF Environmental Consulting will thoroughly check for mold (fungal) contamination or bacteria on coils, blower wheels, fiberglass insulation, ductwork supply and or return registers. RJF Environmental will conduct a HVAC inspection that includes general condition of the unit, condition of the liner, intake, dampers, coils, drain pans, and fan belts.
When water has invaded an indoor environment, time is the key factor in the amount of indoor water damage that will incur. When the power goes off for several days in hot, humid climates, it is difficult to avoid a mold, mildew, or fungi explosion. Molds produce spores (called mold spores) that spread easily through the air and form new mold growths or mold colonies under the right conditions.
