Rio De Ojas
Rio de Ojas offers a unique blend of Mexican Folk Art, Home Decor, Day of the Dead, Frida, Mexican Chocolates, Hand Painted Mexican Dishes, Imported Spanish Foods, and so much more. Double Take Salsa exceeds expectations of salsa lovers. Our salsas and hot sauces are packed with flavor and have a bite to them.

We pride ourselves in the high quality of fresh ingredients and the craft that goes into every product. Each jar of salsa and hot sauce has a complex recipe to create unique, rich, delicious flavors that cannot be forgotten. Once the heat kicks in, it will make you do a double take. We also have DIY kits for sugar skulls and decorating to take some work out and leave the fun!
Services
All of our dishes are made in Mexico, with the color, warmth, and history of that wonderful diverse country. From the rich culture of central Mexico that is Gorky, to the vibrant and festive color of Talavera, there is something for every home. Each handmade piece is unique with the nuances, patterns, and imperfection that make them special!
Handmade to order from Guanajuato Mexico, the possibilities are endless. While this family business is committed to the traditional methods and colors of the region, the younger generations have been branching out to incorporate a wider range of colors and designs. We would love to work with you to help you create your own unique table setting and serving pieces.
Whether for a special event or to perk up every day, decorating is easy with colorful flowers and papel from Mexico. Oil Cloth is available by the foot or by the bolt in a variety of prints. We have flowers made of paper or cornhusk from very tiny to 12 diameter. If you have a large event we are happy to help you.
This ancient holiday is where we remember and celebrate those that we love who have gone before us. We do this both as a community and privately in our homes. Skeletons representing loved ones are often portrayed doing activities they enjoyed doing when alive. Sugar skulls are made to decorate ofrendas (altars) honouring loved ones and to give to children.

This is the most eclectic gift store. Love it!! Went in on a college visit to Pomona & Scripps and the artist who created the Frida Kahlo busts was in store. What a nice and talented group here 🙌

Super cute store.
I love all the different art with the Virgencita on them.
Lots of beautiful pieces celebrating our culture.
AND to top it off they were playing Luis Miguel throughout the store, & the woman working was singing along.

This store gets a 10/10.

If you are a collector of fine Mexican Folk Art and live in the San Diego area area and beyond, this is the one- stop gift shop for you. Also, if you have kids who enjoy rock painting, there is a new rock painting instructional book available on Amazon.com called Rock Painting For Kids Mexican Folk Art Style, by Maria Sandoval.

This is the neatest little store, full of beautiful handpicked Mexican and indigenous art and trinkets. The owners are indeed only nice, down to earth people. Everything they have chosen to sell is unique, fun, and lovely. So many great gift ideas here.

It's hard to pass by Rio De Ojas and not wanting to go inside, check it out. The building that store is in has brick walls, a cool look, it's pretty big and nicely decorated!

Inside, you realize that the store is bigger than you thought, they sell a bit of everything Mexican imported/inspired merchandise- food, clothes, home decor, jewelry.

The decor inside is too cool, full of bright colors, they're very creative in there. Prices are a bit on the high side, but the merchandise is nice, great quality, inspiring to get a gift or something cool for your place.

I've been a customer of Terri's (and Ray's) for almost 20 years. My hair is very "temperamental" and I've been nothing but pleased about my color, cuts, and styles over all of these years. Terri keeps me updated and doesn't charge a fortune. I have to travel now over 1 1/2 hours each way to see Terri, but it's more than worth it!

My daughter and son have also been clients over the years and Terri has gone over and beyond to insure their hair was to their satisfaction. My daughter's special dance hair styles were always voted, "Best Hair"

I frequent this place when I have time to kill in downtown Claremont. It has rather unique items in here and if you are a favorite of dia de los muertos items then you have hit the jackpot!

I especially am a fan of their wrapping presents skills LOL and they do have plenty of nice jewelry to select from in case you are looking for a gift item such as that. Service is always nice and they have a plethora of items to choose from including some culinary treats as well.

This is one of the most unique shops I have ever been in and I love purchasing gifts here, as well as getting fantastic haircuts (told you it was unique!). I can always find something for myself or my friends here -- they've got candles, jewelry, scarves, dishes, chocolates, aprons, cute house items, lots of Day of the Dead stuff, too. It is a feast for your eyes just to go in there. I highly recommend it!!

Ray and Terri are amazing, warm and generous people. My 88 year old grandmother gets her hair done every Friday at 11am by Ray. She has ever since I could possibly remember. She has had some unfortunate events and poor health this past year and they have always been so concerned and caring when I go in for hair appointments. This past Saturday my grandmother was only 2 weeks post op from hip surgery and both Terri and Ray assisted in her transport and made her feel special and beautiful!

The merchandise is awe inspiring! I want everything in the store! Christy is always helpful and does a creative
