In Taxi! Taxi! we provide car seats for infants and children of all ages for only $10 additional charge. Leave the heavy, bulky car seats at home and just bring the kids. We will pick you up with our CLEAN and SANITIZED car seat(s) already installed. Please request the car seat at the time of reservation.

I called the night before my flight at LAX airport and it was confirmed I would be picked up the next day at 4:30 AM. The next morning someone called me at 4:15 AM to let me know they had no drivers and canceled the pick up. Fortunately, I was able to secure an Uber within 15 minutes at a much lower rate. Two reasons many people prefer uber or Lyft as opposed to the old fashioned taxis. Efficiency and price.

Absolutely loathsome company. Was supposed to pick me up to go to the airport. Never showed up, never bothered to call. The guy said someone would be here in a half hour. didn't show. I called and he said i hung up on him. I did not hang up and agreed to wait the half hour. no show. Missed my flight, completely screwed up an important meeting.

I called to arrange pickup at 345am. The man who I spoke with thought I was a scam since when he asked for my phone I gave him my cell though I was calling from my land line which showed up on caller ID. He was suspicious and indicated that he thought I was a scammer and hung up on me.
I called back and arranged the pickup. I called about an hour before the pickup and it was confirmed. At 400, the taxi had still not arrived but I was told it would drive shortly. At 410 I received a call from a driver who told me he was leaving LAX! I called Taxi Taxi who told me

My cell died, we were out front of our hotel, but because I didn't answer my cell, they went on to another client. We had ALREADY waited 45 minutes for them to arrive in the 1st place. For a company that provides transportation to earn an income, you'd think they'd actually provide it.

I had a good experience with Taxi Taxi. I called to make a reservation for the next morning and my driver arrived on time, in fact, he arrived a few minutes before scheduled time! I first got an automated call notifying my driver arrived, then another call a minute later from the driver. The gentleman who picked me up was waiting out front with the trunk and side door already open ready for me to just hop in for the commute. He was kind and insisted he help me with my heavy luggage, and did not mind I was traveling with my pup. In case anyone is interested, it's a $35 flat rate from SM

Reserved a cab. It never came. The "customer reps" are more than incompetent. I have had experiences where they WANT to make sure a cab doesn't come on time or at all, especially if you have even the friendliest criticism or suggestion. Or they decide they don't want to deal with a dissatisfied customer. They put you on hold and leave you there.

First. Telephone etiquette is in dire need here. I get that we are calling for a service but please BELIEVE you don't owe us ANYTHING. With uber, LYFT and a MILLION other taxi companies, the VERY LEAST you could do is have decent phone etiquette.

Very poor communication from the driver whom took the longest route possible as I took the same route before but with a uber which cost me half the price and half the time. The driver wanted cash only but he had a eft machine besides him. He also had the nerve to ask for a generous tip. The reason why I choose a taxi cause my phone died.

Usually ok, but today had a miserable experience. I discovered soon after the driver left that I had left my cell phone in the car. I called the taxi company, and was told the driver hadn't found it. I verified through the Find My iPhone app that it WAS in the car. An hour later I got a call that a Good Samaritan had found the phone and turned it into the bartender at a bar eight miles away. Much needless drama. Took an hour on busses to collect the phone. I bought a beer at the bar to express gratitude to the bartender.

I've never had bad service from this company and today -- as LA recovered from the ravage of the fires -- I had my best-ever cab ride with William who pulled out every stop to make the ride pleasant, including serenading me. (While I realize this might not be everyone's cup of tea, trust me -- you had to be there. It was delightful.)
He showed up early, was polite, drove quickly but carefully and was very friendly and yet was respectful and quiet when I got a call.

I had a good experience taking this cab service from Santa Monica to LAX today. My cab driver was Manuel (his posted license number was 1264). He was early to pick me up, safe, efficient, and friendly. Traveling out of LAX isn't always pretty, so it was nice for my trip to start off on a good note. Paid a $35 dollar flat rate. Would take taxi taxi again.

Was in Santa Monica today and witnessed one of there cab drivers throwing trash out of his window. I pulled up next to him and reminded him that he was only a couple blocks away from the beach and he should have some respect for our community. He then told me to go F-ck myself. I then reached out to the company and they said there's nothing they can do about there driver's. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Rude & disrespectful to our beach community.

We were looking for a ride to LAX with a company that provides car seats for our children. Their website has a "Traveling With Kids" section where they claim they can provide car seats. We have now used them 3 times for this reason, and had a major issue each time. The first 2 times, the drivers showed up with no knowledge of how to install the car seat or without the proper belts to secure it. This cost us 30 mins of fumbling with the car seat before we could go anywhere. Each driver claimed that's what the company gave them.

I haven't taken Taxi Taxi in several years because the last time I called them it took over 40 minutes for them to arrive to pick me up in Santa Monica.
However, today I decided to leave a review after being harassed by a driver while I was getting into an Uber in front of my own apartment building (which arrived within 2 mins). Extremely unprofessional.

After my last review of Taxi Taxi, I received a very nice apology from their Sales Manager Ryan Geraghty addressing the problem I had. I have since heeded to use Taxi Taxi to get to the airport and had a very good trip. The driver was excellent and right on time.
3 star is because I did have a problem getting through to their website to book the trip.

I love in Santa Monica and this is the only taxi company I will use!
Ana, the girl who answers the phone is very quick in knowing who I am and she's very nice and professional.
They always come within 5 minutes of me calling, I swear they are always parked in front of my house or something. Lol
The drivers are usually very nice.
Gotta say gale is my favorite!
