Excellent collection of succulents and cacti, which is obviously their specialty. Some rare and hard to find ones. From large specimens to small 2" pots. Prices are fair. Small but quality selection of pots. Make their own cactus/succulent mix. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this place for the succulent and cacti enthusiast.

I love this store SO MUCH!!! Quality of the plants are 💯, very good selections of succulents and cactus! Prices are unbelievably affordable! I'd say so much better than big box stores such as Lowes and Home Depot. So where would you buy plants from? Southwest Gardens with super affordable price and good quality vs Lowes, Home Depot with poor quality and higher prices? I would chose to go the the Southwest Gardens. I'll support cute grandpa who owns this store!

I stopped in while visiting from out of town and was thoroughly impressed. It had way better selection then the other higher rated nurseries in town, and the prices were great, even for planters. The staff was really nice. I had to really fight the urge to buy everything since I had to fly back home. I will recommend to others in the plant community in Austin
