The O'Grady's founded Creek Side Gardens in late 2006 after purchasing the former Garden Trails property from the McNitt family. In 2012, we were joined by Will Knowles, a veteran in the industry. Will has taken the reigns as our GM and Head of our Growing Operations. Will brings an abundance of knowledge, experience and passion to Creek Side Gardens.
In 2015, Will joined us as a partner. We started simply, rooted in the belief that being connected to the earth, to each other and to our community enhances our lives and those around us. We believe that life is full of beauty and promise and adventure. We live this every Spring as our young plants begin to grow and the winter slowly fades into the promise of warm sun on our faces and new growth under our feet.

I came into the store with very little knowledge of types of plants to use for my project. I ended up talking to Holly for quite a while. While they didn’t end up having the exact application I was looking for, Holly was such a great resource and gave me so many good pointers. It was wonderful that she spent the time with me that she did and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for good people to do business with.

We had gone to two previous Nurseries today, with no luck. Creek Side Gardens was on our way home and we decided to stop by. We were instantly greeted by a lovely lady who was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We were also helped by several other workers during our visit. This late in the season they still had an excellent selection and many of their plants look better than in any of the other nurses we had visited earlier that day. I’m telling all my friends about Creekside gardens we will definitely be returning for all of our planting needs!!

I absolutely hate to be writing this review, because I want to support local businesses as much as possible. But as of now, 3 of the 4 house plants I have purchased for myself from here have had major bug infestations. The first plant I ever bought from here was an alocasia curly bambino which ended up having a major spider mites infestation. I had to trash it to avoid infesting my other plants :( They gave me a replacement which also still came down with spidermites and is now currently just a bulb that I am hoping to bring back to life. I bought a sygonium quite a while back and noticed that

Last year in March, our family was planning a Celebration of life for my Mother who passed away in January. She loved her plants, and gardening was one of her passions. I wanted to honor her memory by having flowering potted plants at her memorial. I thought it would be difficult to find these plants at that time of year but I wanted living plants, not cut flowers. I went to Creek Side Gardens and talked to the people there. They were extremely accommodating and helpful, providing suggestions as to what would be available and blooming in March. I”m a bit of a garden center enthusiast, I love going to them! I have been here three times and every time it was a great experience. There customer service is the best. There workers really know there stuff and are always near by to help. Selection is good and prices reasonable. I think they start and grow most of there plants onsite.

We visited the gardens to window shop in early spring. They were hosting their grand opening for the season and the staff was warm and welcoming. I asked about milkweed for my butterfly garden and was taken to a display of a wide variety of flower seeds that will make the pollinators happy. We walked through a couple of the greenhouses and needless to say we are excited to return for our summer veggie garden. All their plants are beautiful and robust. At checkout we were given more helpful information to make sure we had the best results. This is a wonderful garden center!

I am a native of Colorado and have shopped at many nurseries around the Denver Metro area. Creekside Gardens is by far the very best! The staff is friendly, very helpful and not pretentious, as some nursery employees seem to be. The selection is huge,well maintained and healthy. Creekside Gardens will be my go to nursery from now on.

I searched online and found Creekside Gardens for a same day delivery of a large patio pot for my daughter's birthday. Patty was so helpful and accommodating! She assured me it would be delivered and made it happen! She even texted me a picture of the gorgeous planter before and after delivery! When ordering long distance, you never know what you are going to get but I can't rave enough about the quality! The pot was full off a vibrant colorful, healthy, gorgeous variety of plants!!
