Dr. Mark and his team have worked with my busy social life and crazy work calendar and have helped me to develop new habits that I can continue long after my goal is met. Dr. Mark A Roberts is an expert in the field of weight loss, bariatrics and the medical treatment of obesity. Dr. Roberts completed his residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in 2001. He is an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the Obesity Society and the Pinellas County Medical Association.
Since each person has different goals, discipline levels and body types, there is no concrete time frame. It all depends on you. The Glycemix Index (GI) is the rate at which your body breaks down carbohydrates. Low glycemic carbohydrates break down slowly in the body - releasing glucose and insulin slowly.

When I did this weight loss program a couple of years ago...I lost all the weight. Something that had never happened to me before. I have moved and tried others, but none have worked like Dr Roberts. I’m back in town now and totally going back here.

The Best Place to Start Your New Lifestyle!

These folks are awesome. They take time to listen to my needs. Dr Roberts is available any time and he has stated he would rather address as issue when it comes up than wait til my next appointment. He even answered the phone one day and scheduled me. The team that works here is down to earth and truly caring to see their patients achieve their goals.

Highly recommended! This is a doctor-supervised weight-loss program for those of us who want to do it the old-fashioned way and avoid the dangers of surgery. I have lost over 110 lbs so far. It probably would have been faster if I had more strictly followed the program, but my schedule makes that difficult. Still, I think this program has helped me change my eating habits for the future.

Dr. Roberts provides a recommended low-carb diet, a weekly vitamin booster (mostly B12) shot, appetite suppression medication and some metabolism booster supplements. The weekly weigh-ins give the accountability

This place is great . Dr Roberts is informative and has a great plan laid out. I continue to lose at about 1.5 to 2lbs a week. The ladies are great and I love going to the office. Got another 50 to go and I will be there.

This plan's pluses are it is run by a medical doctor, you eat real food and have full access to the physician. You receive blood work and ekg at start and weight loss can be attained and maintained if you follow the plan. It is great for a quick start to weight loss and to assist you in making real lifestyle changes. I lost 37 pounds in about 9 months and have kept them off for an additional 6 months. The short version of the plan's minuses is it is a very 1 dimensional plan and was not effective in getting me to my reasonable goal. The long version of the minuses - I had expected
