USA Tattoo has been in business in the Petersburg, Colonial Heights and Hopewell tri-cities area, with the same owner, since November of 1992. We are located near Fort Lee U.S. Army base on 83 Sherwood Drive, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Janice Childress, owner of USA Tattoo was issued the first ever business license for tattooing in Petersburg, Virginia.

Services
Apply a thin coat of ointment to the tattoo, Aquaphor, A&D Ointment, Tattoo Goo and Vitamin E Oil are all very good. Ointment can be applied whenever the tattoo is feeling stiff or dry but beware of over-moisturizing. Your body will absorb what it needs where it needs it. Apply ointment 3-4 times a day for two to three days then switch to a regular moisturizer like Aveeno, Eucerin, Keri, Lubriderm, Curel, Jergens, or Vaseline Intensive care.

I got my first tattoo at River City, they were very quick and messed up and wrapped it completely wrong. I got my second and third tattoo at USA tattoo studio. Pugsley gave me a recommendation and did an absolutely terrific job. He told me how to properly care for my tattoo and gave me lots of tips. I was expecting my tattoo to be more money but I thought it was a very fair price. Jason did my third tattoo and he was also very honest with me and told me the proper after care. They DO take appointments, sometimes if you call ahead the same day you’ll be able to get an appointment that same day

I absolutely loved everything about this place! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They made my sister and me feel very comfortable as well. I loved the vibe! I chose a tattoo and got the outline done today, and the line work from Pugsley was extraordinary! I'm so happy to finally have found an artist I can stick with! He does amazing work and also makes you feel at home. I cant wait to return in a few weeks for the final session on my shoulder piece!
