We own a business in downtown Seattle and a recent sewer blockage threatened to close the business down. An unnamed rooter company spent two days attempting to clear the blockage and informed us that they thought we had a broken line. We called in N.W. Sewer and drain and they were able to clear the line with their hydrojet equipment in about 30 minutes. They were highly professional, thorough, and knowledgable, and I would strongly recommend them for any sewer or drainage issue.

In decades of hiring contractors to work on old Seattle houses, this company is hands down the best company I've ever worked with. Spencer, Phil, Robert, Mykaela, Jill, and the rest of the NW Sewer and Drain are fantastic. The bid contains all the work needed, the price is fair, the crew shows up on time, does the work, cleans up. The work is top notch. They are careful, answer all questions, and offer options if there are any. If only they did electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc...

We had an emergency due to sewer coming up into our home from a huge blockage. Spencer responded immediately and spent extra time and effort to resolve the situation. The City was also involved and he spent extra time communicating with them which was invaluable.
He is very knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, and thorough. Mykaela in the office was also very pleasant and helpful as I was very stressed out. I am so thankful I found them.

We asked NW Sewer and drain to provide an estimate for an obstruction at the end of our sewer line. Their intervention was instrumental in gathering the evidence that the issue was with the city and not with us. The facts gathered were sufficient to reluctantly initiate the investigation on the city side which cleared the matter.
That information was well worth the cost of NW S & D investigation. We recommend this company.

Aaron came out promptly to fix a leak under my house. He spent 1 hour shopping for Pex and 1 hour fixing the leak. He charged me $150 for parts, $186 for a service call and $300 for the inconvenience of going under my house for a total of $700, which he then discounted to $600. The cost of parts was about $20 to replace 3' of pipe. Aaron did not put the insulation back on the pipes when he was done, he just left it hanging.

Spencer came out to do a more detailed scoping and assessment of our sewer line in advance of some potential re-lining. He was on-time, courteous, and professional. He did a great job of walking me through what he found and laying out our options. We're still awaiting the re-lining estimate but they have been great to work with so far and I think it's very likely we'll continue with them on our sewer project.

I HIGHLY recommend NW Sewer & Drain. Spencer and his team saved my family over $20,000! We had a different plumbing company come out to clear our sewer line, that company declared our line was broken and that we needed to replace the entire line (upwards of $22,000). Thankfully our Realtor recommended NW Sewer and Drain for a 2nd opinion. Spencer and his team came out and jetted our line clear. It was not broken. I had a great experience with Spencer when he came out to inspect our Sewer line. I found him to be professional and trustworthy. He gave me good suggestions on how to maintain my line to prevent further backups and suggested other ways besides a full sewer line replacement to keep us going. Ryan came out to assess our drainage situation the other day (we'd been having water in our basement) and was extremely helpful and informative, providing good suggestions and advice. Although we didn't end up hiring NW Sewer & Drain (or anyone else) yet, Ryan called back a day or two later just to check and see how things were going, saying that he was thinking of us since it had been raining so hard. Yesterday NW Sewer & Drain saved me $16,900!!!! Another sewer company said I needed $17,500 of repairs and wanted $8,000 up front before starting any work.
NW Sewer & Drain hydrojetted my sewer line yesterday and did an amazing job. On the video cam I was able to watch Spencer cut through one thick wall of roots after another. I was impressed by how the work requires a lot of determination, expertise and physical strength. He stuck with it for 4 1/2 hours to get the line completely clear, even though I had only paid for 2 hrs. My sewer line is now clean and in no need of repairs

Called my usual plumber for a sewage line block on one of our facilities buildings at Crosspointe Church in Bothell, he said he would not be able to get there that day so he referred me to NW Sewer and Drain. They were out very quickly and provided excellent service. I had no existing exterior clean out on the building as it is an older building, but they were able to track the line and tap into it, run the hydrojet to clear the line, and install a new clean out for a extremely fair price in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Spencer and his guys for any sewage problem you may have.
