O'Bean's LLC started off as a mobile Coffee Cruiser/Coffee cart in a 1971 VW Van. We have met so many incredible people who have become fans and friends alike because of this little wonder! We are fully mobile and just love to set up our Van for special events and functions. We also now have expanded into a brick and mortar location on Tramway and San Rafael.
Come out and check us out! We are a family owned and family run business. Our mission is to provide great coffee, meet great people and we can also bring the coffee to you!

It is tuck away in the heights. But walking into the cafe I could not stop looking at all the cute decor. The staff so friendly and helpful with the options/selections/flavors. We got the favors of the month. They also had baked good that sounded awesome. Today was just coffee. We are coming back for sure.

I found O'Bean's on Yelp on our way out the door for a short hike. I was so excited for good coffee close to a hiking spot we enjoy. So wanted to love this place.
The coffee I had was real bad. :( l got a light roast drip coffee because I adore good drip coffee. Unfortunately tasted like water that had been used to wash out a coffee pot. Zero coffee body, taste, or caffeine. I am pretty sure it was mostly water. Probably the worst "coffee" I have ever paid money for. It was also served too hot to drink.
My husband had a cappuccino which was actually good. So maybe stick

Wow, what a great little coffee shop! Wait, did you say they're closed on Sundays?
I have believed, since moving to this city -- and still today -- that there are enormous swaths of neighborhoods missing the basics: good eating, good coffee, good bakeries. The Northeast Heights is Exhibit A. Most of the money in this city resides in these hills, many of those wealthy people go hiking and bike riding during the weekends, and yet there's virtually nowhere, anywhere, for those people to spend their money and read the newspaper. What the eff?

They roast their own beans! I don't know what's more awesome, the coffee or the service. O'Bean's has a cozy atmosphere and friendly vibe that will keep you coming back. Maybe because it's family owned. Every community needs a coffee place like this. Ok, time to put down my phone and get back to my dairy-free latte!

I love this little coffee shop! They make delicious and unique beverages both hot and cold; my favorite is the Valerie. Homemade scones fresh out of the oven are also a delicious treat! The lovely patio is a great escape from the current craziness. Sitting at the foot of the Sandias, it's a wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy a fabulous O'Beans treat. Super friendly service makes the place perfect!

I came across O'Beans on yelp and thought how incredibly cute it looked. It reminded me of growing up in SoCal. When I was in high school a lot of my friends drove various types of VWs. My little brother got his first bug with a rag top. I remember cruising in around town with my friends in their bugs. So as I walked up some of the simple touches brought me back to my days of going to beach and riding a beach cruiser. If you threw in an ocean and a little pacific breeze I could almost envision myself in Newport Beach. Inside the decor and appeal is fantastic the VW conversions into

Very friendly family business with a fun and retro vibe with lots of decorations. Although the barista and owner are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about coffee, our drinks fell short. The husband's nitro brew was flat and my Cubano did not taste as strong as it should have: it was more like hot sugar water with a light coffee flavor and little caffeine (I drank a big ol' mug and still didn't feel the effects of becoming more alert). It was unfortunate.

My new favorite coffee spot in ABQ! This adorable brick-and-mortar is located in the foothills surrounded by beautiful hikes and is a perfect place to stop before or after for a jolt of delicious caffeine.
I went on a first date here and the staff was absolutely incredible and helped us pick out the most delicious cups of coffee. They then proceeded to let us sit in the cafe for five whole hours while only occasionally checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable. The experience was wonderful, and I will be back again soon. Thank you for making the day so relaxed and enjoyable!

Add O'Bean's to your list of places for an espresso drink fix. Especially if you like to stop for coffee while riding a bike or moseying along with friends on the Tramway multi-use path. Just take a short detour east on San Rafael. I'd like to see a quiche or hand-held burrito on the menu in addition to the yummy donuts and pastries.

Wow! What a van. This whole operation is amazing. Set up shop quick. The people are great to talk to and their product cannot be beat. For working out of a van their menu has RANGE. I was expecting just coffee and I was very pleasantly surprised to see the whole menu was available. I got the iced Carmel macchiato and it was delicious. They told me where their store is and if I see the van again, you better believe I'm stopping by. These guys are the real deal!

Good, but not exceptional, coffee and pastry at prices as elevated as it's location in the NE Heights just off Tramway.
Mocha prices come in at $4.70'ish (12 oz) and $5 (16 oz), which is a bit above typical for Albuquerque in my experience. I opted for my usual 16 oz portion. Bigger is better, right?
Cellophane wrapped commercial cheese danish rolled in around the $3 price point. Donuts in the case were from Rebel Donuts. If I understood correctly, the pastries were from Chocolate Maven.
The mocha flavor was good, but it isn't going to redefine your life's expectation of

Super fun place!
I have wanted to stop in for a while and finally made the time.
Fun atmosphere and excellent service. This is the kind of place you can chat with other patrons and relax.
The coffee and tea are high quality and delicious. Crafted with lots of care.
It was so great that my husband went back the next week and bought a gift card for my Christmas stocking.

Amazingly, kind barista!! We cruised through by happenstance on a road trip. He helped us choose the perfect cup of coffee for the hours ahead of us!
We got the mocha w/ red chili and the Mexican mocha w/ vanilla soy milk -- they were rich in flavor and have made the last few hours of driving a warm treat! Plus, the shop is soooo CUTE!

Important little Fact: The stores that are off of Tram cannot post big signs. So if you are actually driving the speed limit, you may not see the sign for this little coffee shop.
But when you do find it, it will be worth the fair price for the coffee. This is a family owned shop, and everyone is very sweet. Will totally choose them over Starbucks for my Cafe Mocha!!
