Led by our Senior Partner, Barbara Wong (the "W" in SWLG), the California team specializes in the immigration needs of the rapidly evolving tech industry. In particular, we handle complex H-1B cases, PERM applications, and extraordinary ability petitions. We counsel H-1B dependent employers as well as other employers on I-9 compliance.
SWLG's Tokyo Office was established in 2013 after our Senior Partner, David Sindell, was admitted as an Attorney at Foreign Law in Japan. He is one of a few licensed attorneys of Foreign Law in Japan, specializing in U.S. immigration, and SWLG is the only firm providing such services in Tokyo with bicoastal offices in the U.S.

Reviewing the SW Law team in Fremont, CA whose expertise truly helped Fitbit, Inc.'s hiring in the first 8 years of business. Barbara Wong and her team were an integral partner with Fitbit's HR team to ensure our Immigration Cases were handled properly, accurately, and in a timely manner. I especially appreciated the monthly case reviews and in person meetings Barbara and team would make time for just to make sure we were all on the same page and in alignment with company policy. Thank you SW Law team for all the hard work!

I highly recommend Nadia Yakoob-Sway as an immigration attorney. Not only is she very experienced and has an impressive track record and academic background, she is personable, attentive, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgable. I have referred many friends and colleagues to her in the past and she is the first person I turned to now that I need my own advice. I highly recommend her strategic and individualized approach and service. It makes dealing with complex and seemingly overwhelming information much, much easier!
