Rob moved to Northern Virginia in 2005 and has been actively involved in many areas of construction and real estate ever since. He worked as a project manager for Ryan Homes, and later built homes alongside two other custom builders.
In 2007, Zimmermann Homes was established and he began to venture on his own with land acquisition, spec homes, rental properties, bank foreclosures, and most importantly building custom homes and additions for local clientele!There he found his niche and diligently continues to work hard to be one of the area's best custom builders.

Zimmermann Homes is hands down the highest quality home that you can build. I have worked with this company on luxury homes in Falls Church City, McLean and Arlington. Great attention to detail, awesome features that make it a home, and not just a place to live. Also builds with lots of green features and energy efficiency in mind.

Rob & his team at Zimmermann homes built our 5 bedroom 4.5 bath 4,000 square foot Falls Church home in 2016. We couldn't be happier with the house and the whole process from design to move in. We have now been in the home for a year - and have had no issues beyond a few nail pops and even there, Rob's crew was back at the one year point to do touch-ups and any minor repairs needed.
