I am a Denver newborn, maternity, and family photographer. I was primarily a wedding photographer for many years until my brides starting having babies. This life only happens once. This pregnancy is here then gone so quickly. Your little ones grow and change FAST. I love capturing all these moments for my mamas and dads-to-be, first time parents, and all of the old pros out there It's most important to grab the moments because they are all so fleeting.
Sweet, fresh, and clean photos of your baby. I love minimal props and the focus to be on the baby. I come to you with my props and set up in your home. New mamas love that they don't have to leave their homes right after giving birth. Packages may include digital images, online gallery, mobile app, printing rights, photo box, or an album.
A fresh 48 session is just what it sounds like. Your baby is under two days old and you're still in the hospital soaking up the newness of your expanded family before getting back to reality. I've done a handful where the older sibling comes to meet the newest family member. Such sweet little moments to capture.
I come to you. You just had a baby. You're exhausted, you might be a bit in pain, and you're figuring out the whole how to be a parent thing. You don't need to load up the car. I load up mine and move in for a few hours. Some parents stick around and watch while some go sneak in an uninterrupted lunch, nap, or get ready for family photos.
I suggest we schedule the session a month and a half before your due date. That way your belly is big but you aren't to the very end of your pregnancy where you're a little uncomfortable. It's totally up to you and how you're feeling about your body. This also depends on if it's your first or second baby.

We have absolutely loved working with Tess starting with our maternity photos, then newborn, then family photos. I think it says a lot that we continue to reach out and work with her through all phases of our family life. She's creative and suggests locations and ideas for those of us that aren't and her sunny personality is so easy to work with. I worked with Tess for my sons newborn photos and I could not be happier. She was flexible with scheduling : worked around his feeding schedule and being several weeks early. Prior to photos she sent “instructions” on how to prep, what to expect, and tips to ensure a smooth and great shoot. Day of the shoot Tess was so kind, easy to talk to, and I felt 100% comfortable with her handling our little guy. She got our photos to us in a very timely manner and they are just stunning. Tess is absolutely wonderful! We first hired her to take newborn photos of our son and she is SO TALENTED at working with newborns and we absolutely love her style. We have since had her take 1-year, holiday, and maternity photos and her photos are beautiful and she is so good at working with children (which is not an easy task). I would highly recommend Tess for your newborn and family photos!

Tess took some of my favorite photos of my daughter and me. I continue to cherish them year after year. She has such a positive and fun personality so made me feel really comfortable in front of the camera right away. She also embraces real life so the candids of my daughter being her silly self are some of my favorites in the bunch.

We have worked with Tess three times so far (our wedding and our sons 6&9 mo photos)- and certainly plan on many more! She has an amazing eye for photography and capturing the true personality of those she’s photographing. Even in difficult to shoot situations (my two 70lb labs deciding to run free during a baby photo shoot, a super grumpy 9 mo old, weather turning from sunny and warm to icy cold 10 minutes into the shoot, etc) she still produces stunning photos and handles the situation with grace and ease. This is the most emphatic Five Star I've ever given. I would give 100 stars if I could. Tess took the best pictures of our newborn daughter. We've only seen a few sneak previews and are already blown away. She has a great sense of humor and aims to please her clients. Super chill and easy to work with.

Tess is AMAZING! She has been photographing my family for 6 years now starting with our engagement photos and then the newborn photos for my two girls. She took their photos every three months for their first year and takes yearly family photos. I recommend her to everyone. Once I tried to go to another photographer for Christmas photos, and was highly disappointed. I contacted Tess and she set up another photo shoot for us, and we were blown away by how cute the photos were. We won't get our family photos taken by anyone else. I recommend her to all of my friends!

Tess is magical. Her professionalism is paired with her creativity. I have hired Tess for a multitude of photography needs over the years including newborn, maternity, lifestyle, family, and headshot shoots. She comes prepared, executes your photo session with a smile, and then delivers the most clean, crisp, yet whimsical photo collection you have ever seen. Tess is one-of-a-kind! She has been my go-to photographer since my maternity photos over 3 years ago, and I've had my family photographed by her at least twice a year since that time. She is completely professional, and incredibly flexible. My son (now 3) is a bit persnickety when it comes to having his picture taken, but she ALWAYS manages to get incredible shots of my family that capture who we are and how much we love each other. I have a hard time printing anything but Tess' photos to hang around my house, and her handiwork is all over the place. I can't say enough about the quality of work
