I wouldn't go anywhere else. The Holistic Dental Center helps me keep my teeth, healthy, clean and does it in a way that I feel comfortable with. They helped me to get the last couple mercury fillings I had removed to make sure that my body stays healthy and clear of heavy metals. I have been seeing Dr. Simmons for a number of years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

The Holistic Dental Center encourages the use of non-toxic restoration materials for dental work, and focuses on the unrecognized impact that dental toxins and hidden dental infections can have on your overall health. Our team recognizes the close connection between dental health and the individual's nutrition, immune system, and the nervous system.
Dr. Craig Simmons graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry and went on to serve in the United States Navy as a dentist for three years. During that time, he also earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Simmons has now been in private practice for more than eight years and is committed to his practice in holistic dentistry.
In the past we did not promote the traditional implant due to the titanium structure. The titanium implant system consist of two components joined together with a fixation screw. This allows for micro-movement and the perfect environment to harbor anaerobic bacteria. The gingiva experiences constant inflammation which can lead to bone loss and possible implant failure.
The outstanding difference in a tooth extraction lies in the education of removing surrounding diseased tissues, if left intact, it will only slow or inhibit total healing. Tooth extractions are necessary to remove non-restorable or infected teeth from the oral cavity. It is important to know about the periodontal ligament that experiences destruction from periodontal abscesses, as well as the supporting bone structure.

My husband and I (who had gone to Hollistic Dental All his life, not me) made a consultation appointment to ask questions about extracting a root canal of my mouth (ashley). We thought it went well then at 25 minutes after he cut us off and said he had other patients. When we checked out I went back inside to ask Carrie receptionist how long a consult is suppose to go and she said should be an hour but sometimes less sometimes more like 1 hour 15 minutes depends on how much you have. I told her he stopped us at 25 minutes and I had more questions. Specific important questions I needed answered

Best Dental experience ever!!! All the staff are friendly, kind, professional. I drive 60+ miles to get there, and they are honestly the friendliest place in Spokane these days when life seems so crazy. Those 60 miles are SO worth it! In fact, I will drive 60 miles to go JUST to The Holistice Dental Center, and no where else in Spokane. If possible, this is the only dental office I will ever go to for life. Needed a tooth extraction and I have severe dental anxiety. Everyone here was amazing! Stephanie assisted Dr. Simmons for my appointment and both made me feel right at home.

I seriously Love Love Love this place and everyone of these great people. The work we have had done is high quality and their holistic knowledge is thorough and up to date.
As an immune compromised person I believe they are doing things perfectly, they provide unique services to those who feel they need it.
Holistically speaking, even my "traditional medicine" practitioners have said our bodies need oxygen. If you want to hermetically seal yourself, wear your own personal hazmat suit and you believe that works for you, go for it, that does not meet my medical needs so don't push it on me.

Lace masks, seriously? I wanted to like this place. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and helpful with assisting me with my insurance, and the hygienist was awesome, but when I went into the hallway for my x-rays I was assisted by a woman wearing a lace mask so thin I’m surprised it didn’t floss her teeth when she talked. I can’t believe that a place that claims to care so much for a patient’s whole body health would allow an employee to wear a lace mask, especially when they are up close with their patients for x-rays, checking in, etc. The dentist wearing his mask below his nose

I had a tooth extracted and everything went perfect in the office. For whatever reason I did not clot at home and got dry socket. I called Dr after ours on a Sunday in agonizing pain and he met me at the office to treat my dry socket.
Staff is friendly and the dr truly cares about the health of your teeth.

My girlfriend went here for a while and I had all intentions of going there myself but when she had high blood sugar from her type 1 diabetes and almost died from it, she couldn't walk or talk and she happened to miss an appointment and they rudely called and told her never to schedule again and hung up on her, now I never will and hope no one else does either

Dr Simmons and his staff are AMAZING! It is a family like feeling from start to finish, so friendly and great about explaining everything they do and why. I have had complications amd infections after many dental treatments prior to going to Dr Simmons, since going to him I have had zero pain or infections!

After a lifetime of going to dentists I can happily say this was the best experience I've had yet. My hygienist Ashley was friendly, gracious, well educated and took the time to teach me about the uniqueness and importance of homeopathy. Their team worked with me on an individualist level rather then just running my through the system. Dr. Simmons is knowledgeable, quick, and precise. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone with a mouth!

Dr. Simmons has been my dentist for the past five years & very happy with my dental care! I'm a patient whom--at the moment--only requires a visit once every six months & through my experience the staff has been friendly & efficient through each appointment.
Wait time is always minimal, I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes, and I'm always asked to have my next appointment scheduled before leaving. Overall highly recommended!

Love, love, looooove this place. If you truly want good holistic dentistry where the staff is genuinely concerned with your overall health...this is THE place.
I went to the other practice that claims to be holistic and they are NOT...they tried pushing me into getting a root canal which I refused...I would much rather have my tooth pulled than do such a risky procedure. So that's when I called Holistic Dental Center and was so relieved when I spoke with the staff that fully supported my wants and needs. They squeezed me in and I could not be happier. No other place for me.

Love this dental office. Dr Simmons makes us feel special every time we come in and really puts my little boys at ease with his gentle-spirited personality. I appreciate that this office has resources readily available to educate my family on any procedures and that they do not use toxic (cheap) fillings and "silver" teeth that are pressured on so many parents with their kiddos. We also have chosen not to get x-rays unless absolutely necessary and we do not give our children fluoride drops. Dr Simmons is not only supportive and respectful but he also doesn't make me feel like a terrible

I could not be happier to have been referred to this office. Staff and Drs care about your dental health, overall health, as well as the importance of cavity prevention and how to keep a healthy smile! They use quality natural products and don't push fluoride. The only improvement I could see is on availability in hours as they are only open 3 days a week. But they are well worth the wait!

I was about to go to a dentist that had examined me and stated I needed three root canals and nearly 13,000 dollars worth of dental work. I'm in my mid 30's and very healthy. I came here to get a second opinion, they reduced that amount to nearly a third of the cost and saved me from a root canal. I had all my old filling replaced, had cleanings, and a crown put on. Shocked that this office want to charge us $132. each to send our records to our new dentist. New office personnel stated they had never heard of a fellow dentist conducting themselves in this non professional way. I spent over $1,000. with this office. Would recommend you ask what policies they have that do not comply with tradtional industry standards and practices before you commit. Understand what holistic dentistry is and if it really exists or if this is just an excuse or nich to make money.
