Georgetown Shutter Shop is a locally owned and operated manufacturing facility located in the heart of Georgetown, South Carolina. Shawn Reardon is the sole owner that runs the business of manufacturing plantation shutters, Bahama style shutters, colonial style shutters and hurricane storm panels. We also have a wide variety of window coverings like faux wood or wooden blinds, bamboo shades, and solar shades.
Our Bahama Style Shutters are made of aluminum extrusions and are custom colored any color. These shutters add great curb appeal to your home while protecting from strong hurricane force winds. They allow soft, indirect light and fresh breezes into your home while protecting valuable rugs and furniture from the sun's damaging rays.
Plantation Shutters are commonly referred to as "the ultimate window covering". Their versatility makes them desirable for both traditional and contemporary decors. Our Plantation Shutters are custom made for each window. They are composed of a faux wood product, which works well in hot, humid climates and are painted to match the interior trim of your home.
The Aluminum storm panel shutters offer the maximum storm protection at the most efficient cost. These storm panels take the place of old bulky plywood; they are easily stored and take up less room. The light-weight, re-usable aluminum panels are easily put up in case of a fast approaching storm. The track system is fastened to the window frames; then the panels are put into the track and overlap one another when they are installed.
