I can't say enough good thing about Spear-Miller. After contacting several other funeral homes, not only are they they most reasonably priced they provide excellent customer service. Richard Miller looks out for his customers when they are most vulnerable giving you options and answering all questions. My dearest mother's graveside burial service was exactly what she would have wanted. Thank you so much for all your help during a difficult time!

Spear-Miller handled some complicated arrangements for a family member 20+ years ago, so I reached out to them when my son passed last November.  Leah Michalewicz did an outstanding job coordinating with multiple and out-of-state jurisdictions to see to the transfer, cremation and securing of death certificates.  To my relief, this was completed in a timely manner while in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Leah listened closely to help me select appropriate keepsakes and used her photoshopping and creative writing skill to draft an obituary that was a wonderful portrayal of my son.  Throughout

The Spear Miller Funeral Home was kind and attentive to the utmost degree, during a very sad and vulnerable time. No question of ours was too much or met with anything but the most thoughtful response. Considering the importance of the job they did for our entire family - laying our husband and father to rest - they made easier what could have been far more difficult for us all. It was a full-service, full -attention five star job they did for our family. Thank you again for your wonderful care.

Very patient, kind and understanding group of people.
They do all they can to accommodate your requests to ensure your loved one has the funeral they wanted. No pressure, up front pricing. Perfect in every way during the most difficult of times.
My family has used Spear Miller's services several times over the past 25 years, most recently for my mom. They have consistently exceeded our expectations.

Our auntie passed away in SC but she wanted to buried in Connecticut so we had two Funeral Homes to deal with. Spear Miller took over every thing. They beautifully coordinated with the SC funeral home and all was seamless to us. We had a lovely graveside service in CT and it was very comforting.

Very professional and so easy to work with. Went over and above to accommodate us as we were out of state making arrangements for inter state transport of the body. Mr Miller knew Sister's family which made it very personal. The Covid 19 precautions were in place which made it heartbreaking that we could not have a funeral Mass, but the graveside service was very nice and the remembrance prayer cards were beautiful. Thank you for everything Mr Miller!!

I have nothing but good things to say about the Spear Miller Funeral Home. Going through such a difficult time compounded by a pandemic, Richard Miller didn’t hesitate to help us, while another local funeral home didn’t want to handle our arrangements and even told us we should wait. They were recommended by our cemetery and I instantly knew I had the right place. The logistics of our arrangements were far from simple with our loved one’s coming from different locations and in different conditions. Richard handled all of the logistics of arranging multiple burials, with professionalism, compassion

I highly recommend the Spear Miller Funeral Home. They were so compassionate, and made such a difficult time - easier. They worked with our budget, listened to our needs and personalized things even better than expected. Richard and Leah were there throughout the entire process and our family will forever be grateful for the services they provided.
