At our office, we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. We are preferred providers with many PPO insurances, but no matter what insurance you may have, we are happy to submit claims on your behalf as a courtesy. Please bring both your dental and medical insurance information with you to the consultation so that we can expedite this process.
For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards and care credit. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore full payment for the treatment is due at the time service. As a courtesy, our office will file the insurance claim on your behalf. Once the claim is processed, the insurance company will reimburse you directly.
Dr. Park is a board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS). He is one of the select few individuals who holds a fellowship in both the American College of Surgeons and American College of Dentists. He is a former Residency Program Director and Division Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Highland Hospital and a previously tenured Associate Professor at UOP School of Dentistry.
Facial trauma can encompass several different injuries, including soft tissue damage, fractures, and injuries. Trauma can occur to any part of the face, including the jaw, mouth, nose, eye orbits, and forehead. The face is a very delicate structure, full of nerves, blood vessels, muscles, connective tissue, cartilage, and bone.
We are proud to offer dental implants for our patients. Dental implants are roots placed in your mouth for either permanent teeth to be placed on or ones that you can remove. When done correctly, and with proper care, dental implants can last a patient's whole life. It is still important to brush your teeth, floss, and use mouthwash when you have implants.

In July of 2020, I needed an urgent tooth extraction, and I'm grateful that my dentist found an opening for me with Dr. Park and Dr. Shimel. The staff's service was exceptional, from working quickly on the new patient paperwork to getting me in to see Dr. Shimel regarding a consultation on the extraction and bone graft since I wanted a dental implant to replace the tooth.

I found Drs. Park and Shimel on Google search. They have the most and best reviews. The first phone experience already separated them apart from other clinics I had called. The staffs were very friendly and prompt and were thorough. They were very accommodating.

I was referred here from livermore dental, for my bottom molar teeth. I walked in with many doubts as usual visiting a new facility, although everyone in the staff are very kind, friendly and talked me into made it very easy for me to adopt to new place. Long overdue review for my Wisdom Teeth removal! Dr. Shimel and his staff were the pinnacle of professional but also extremely personable people. I went into the surgery dreading the process and SUPER nervous. They talked me through all the processes and made it all so much less daunting than I anticipated. I called the office literally minutes after my husband came home from his wisdom tooth extraction. I had a dead tooth that needed to be extracted and plan on getting an implant there.
