Don't let the exterior fool you. This is one of the nicest hotels I've been to in the last few years! For the price, I guarantee it's the best deal in town There's a newer microwave/fridge, updated bathroom, new mattresses, and the shower has two shower heads! The lady who runs the front desk is incredibly sweet and professional, too. It was definitely a nice surprise to encounter in Lusk!

We were very pleased with the comfortable beds, cleanliness, the dog run, and the pet friendly rooms they offer and the full breakfast. We had stayed in two other chain rooms. One the bed was so hard we were so sore the next day. The other lacked cleanliness and long over due for up-dates. Shannon is a pleasure to deal with. The weather kept our schedule tentative, and Shannon had no trouble with flexibility, again not like the two chains.

We were in Lusk for a HS basketball tournament. Lusk is super tiny. Just to give you an idea, there are no chain grocery stores, convenient stores or restaurants, with the exception of Subway.
We had planned to drive home after the game and then drive back the next day for another game; however, the three hour drive home was not appealing at 8 pm. We called around to the few different motels and most were almost full, with only smoking rooms with full beds only left. Yuck.

This probably is your best bet of staying somewhere cheap. It is 52$ plus tax. The next was like 89$. The lady here who owns it is very nice, and has a cute puppy that will come say hi. Rooms aren't huge, but you can fit all your luggage inside and still walk around. Has mini frige, TV, and microwave inside the room. And the bathrooms are easy to walk in. Plus they have heaters in the room, and free wifi. You can park right outside your door, so we were glad to stay here.

We finally got lucky! We've been gouged by innkeepers the last five nights on this road trip, and now we happened upon this place whose motto is Just as Nice At a better price. And it's true! My guess is that this place is nicer than the handful of others in town, actually. The clerk, Susan, was friendly and helpful. The room itself is clean, spacious and comfortable. And we checked the prices with two other establishments in town. The Town House is about half the price of the others where we were quoted $130. Both were national" budget" chains.

Their rates cannot be beat in Lusk. Their rooms may not be super fancy, but they were very tidy and the bathroom was very, very clean. Wifi, cable, mini-fridge, microwave, shared grills outside, and continental breakfast. I also love that it's an old-fashioned park in front of your room kind of place. And kind staff to boot! Would most definitely stay here again.
