Established in 1971, Papa Tom Corrente purchased Elliot's Unfinished Furniture. Our original location sat on Ventura Avenue. Papa Tom and Grandma Molly operated the store until 1982 when Tom sold to store to his son Dave. Dave and his wife Chris still own the business. Daily operations are managed by their daughter Jennifer.
In offering solid wood furniture at affordable prices, the family has raised daughters, grandchildren, and animals in the business. On any given day, you will find a fun mix of stuff happening at Elliot's. The family values have supported the business model for Elliot's for over forty years. Used Elliott's unfinished furniture for the first time.... we were creating a new office space and I had been looking online for furniture for months and every time I found something I liked it was back ordered or discontinued. Went to Elliott's and they helped me order exactly what I was looking for right down to the custom color and finish. Quality is top notch and the employees are caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Elliot's!

I bought 12 rooms worth of furniture here to furnish a student house...including captain beds, dressers & desks. It has been over 13 years now and I can say from experience that the furniture is durable & of excellent quality and going strong. Amazingly I have not needed to replace anything in all these years... And the prices were really reasonable. I will be returning to buy pieces for my teenager's room after making the mistake of buying cheap compressed wood that is literally falling apart 2 years later...!

This is a great place to shop for quality furniture. Some of the furniture is painted or stained which is also nice if you don't have the time to do it yourself. They really go the extra mile to make sure you find what you need. They have lots of catalogs and such, and the items are priced pretty reasonably. They also sell plenty of stain and paint so you can get everything you need in one trip.
Also, they have a dog who walks around behind the counter (I'm not sure if she's there all the time). I'm pretty sure she's a golden retriever named Lola.

My family and I have been purchasing furniture from here for years and we still love the place. The customer service is excellent. The gals there have gone the extra mile and have spent considerable time trying to help me find the right piece of furniture to fit my needs. They have a lot of options in store and a ton of catologs to browse through. And they have also spent time helping me design a customized piece, which is awesome if you can't find a standard piece that meets your needs.

We wanted a TV stand and went to Elliot's. What a wonderful experience! We looked at samples in store and in their multiple catalogs. We were able to choose lenght, height, width, types of shelving,legs, doors, and there are a multitude of finishes/paints. It cost us no more than buying something ready made, the quality was WAAAY better and it looks beautiful. They are a pleasure to deal with, honest and professional. Will work with them again! Highly recommend
