Danyell created our wedding cake. It was three layers: almond on the first layer and lemon and raspberry filling on the top 2 layers. The cake got raves from our guests. I couldn't stop eating the almond layer...it was that good! Danyell was a pleasure to work with and was friendly and professional throughout the entire process. We were fortunate to find her. Xtra Special Cakes made the most beautiful wedding cake for our wedding in Sedro Woolley last weekend. It was three layers each a different shade of pink and a cascade of hand made flowers on one side. The cake decorator took the time to sit down with me a few weeks before the wedding and we decided on a design together. She was super friendly and knowledgeable and it was one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning process. The cake was not only beautiful but tasted amazing (we had almond cake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting). It was a hot humid day and the cake held up very

I'm not a cake guy, but my wife and in-laws are. My niece gobbled down a lemon cupcake before crossing the Skagit River Bridge. She can appreciate a cupcake more than me, and she enjoyed it immensely. My wife and family say this place is the best, glad that it's close to our US home.

Ordered keylime with buttercream frosting for top 2 tiers and chocolate with raspberry for bottom tier. The chocolate was good, obviously who could go wrong with chocolate and raspberry, but the keylime was phenomenal. Vibrant color matched by great texture and tasted amazing! We also had some raspberry tarts and lemon bars, the raspberry tarts were just lovely with fresh whipped cream and a raspberry on top.

What can I say, we went in for our wedding cake and they helped us design it, everything, so friendly and professional! The cake was amazing, simply amazing. The cake itself was light and not dry at all, the frost was wonderful and got so many compliments! Thank you guys for a simply perfect addition to our big day!

We've ordered our wedding cake from xtraspecialcakes. Our experiences with the owner have been wonderful. When we went for our consultation she was very helpful in designing something with us that fit our theme. The cakes tasted AMAZING! i have never had such a delicious tasting cake. Our wedding isnt until August, so I can't review how that experience will go, but so far i am VERY happy with our choice to go with xtraspecialcakes!
