A: Our clients are able to invest in 5, 10, or 20 session programs at a time based on their fitness needs. I'm so excited that CHECK ON IT FITNESS is able to see people in person! Sia the owner has plenty of space (about 1600 sq ft) and about 4 air purifiers going at all times. It's just you and him inside, no crowds! The gym is so clean and Sia takes disinfection/sanitation VERY seriously. As soon as you walk in there is a antimicrobial floor mat, and hand sanitizer machine all in one! He is not just a personal trainer he is a magician when it come to injuries and uses many physical therapy techniques/exercises and the best part is he stretches you out at the end of each session.

We needed a personal trainer that doesn't just make you do crazy ropes and kettle bells without evaluating what your fitness goals are. After trying many corporate gyms and private trainers we found Sia. Many of the those trainers have the licenses required to be a trainer but lack the knowledge. So this is where Sia is distinguished by his knowledge not only about fitness but also the entire human body physiology, neurological system, and just anatomy. He will design a thorough program of what you need.

I found Check On It Fitness, by chance, while driving down Burbank Boulevard. The location caught my eye, because it's so clean and well designed. As a result of getting rear-ended, I've been struggling with bulging cervical discs, residual nerve pain, tingling and numbness down my right arm into my hand & fingers for months. I always had the kind of body type that got by just enough to make people say, "Oh no, you're not overweight! You're fine!" but I knew - I felt the fat on my stomach when I tried to zip up my pants, the cellulite gathering on the tops of my thighs and the overall softness in my body that made it so evident that I was not exactly fit. And of course, I went to the gym 3-4 times a week and tried (not very hard) to watch my diet and be mindful of my sedentary lifestyle (8 hours of working in front of a computer, ~2 hours of commuting), but I always had some sort of excuse.

I've been working with Jeff for 9 months now and it was the best decision I ever made. My goal was to lose 25 pounds and gain muscle tone; the attached picture was taken about five months ago, so I am even more lean now, just a few pounds away from my goal! My name is Amethyst and I've been training with Jeff since the summer of 2017. I had lost my mom in May and food was becoming a problem. I was overweight and miserable. Broke my shoulder in three places requiring surgery and rehab. A friend recommended Jeff and it's been 10 months training 2-3 times per week. Happy to say I have most of my mobility back and building strength. The results have been amazing. These guys know their stuff. And I much prefer a private gym as opposed to a regular facility. Cannot rave enough about this place.

Not to sound too clichΓ©, but Jeff changed my life. We first met at another gym 5+ years ago. As you can tell, I'm a follower and followed him to his new, well deserved adventure.

Sia changed my life!!! I felt stuck and frustrated when I first went to Sia and that all changed quickly. He is so patient, very encouraging and the best cheerleader when you feel like giving up. I've never felt better, or been this confident. a new chair, standing desk, massages and even medication...but these were all just temporary fixes as the pain just started migrating to new spots. Jeff designed a program to strengthen my shoulder and posture which has eliminated the cause of the pain instead of just the symptoms. Now my pain is gone and my body is in better shape than ever. Jeff and Sia are both super friendly and complete professionals and their studio is in a great location with easy parking and just minutes from Hollywood.

I've been training with Jeff since mid-2015, with a brief break in-between. I'll be completely honest: I wasn't planning on working with a personal trainer again. At this point, I don't commit most "cardinal sins" while working out and I know how to create and follow a program, as well as keep my nutrition in check. All thanks to learning from him, of course. However, what I didn't know was how to transition from a more strength and size-oriented method of exercise to an overall athletic conditioning and performance oriented-method (aka. Functional training).

I have been struggling to lose weight before I came in for my first session with Jeff. Name the fad diet or workout/fitness guru and for sure, I have tried it or went out and bought work out plans online. Always, I would lose some weight and then gain it back.

Sia is super knowledgeable and you can trust he wants you to get in your best shape. The new Burbank studio is the perfect alternative for those who do not like the big box gyms. One on one attention without distractions and waiting for machines to open up. The newest high end equipment and a very clean well maintained space.

Sia is a remarkable personal trainer and I feel very lucky to have found him. I trained with Sia twice a week for 4 months from December 2014 to April 2015. Lost 40 pounds during that time (weight of 225 pounds to 180 pounds). More importantly I got much stronger. I had back pain and very little strength. I could not do more than one push-up. Sia said the first thing he would do is strengthen my back. First month was spent just doing that. The post workout massage Sia provided also gave needed relief. I no longer have back pain.
