I have never had a worse time and service with a healthcare provider. My medicine was increased numerous times and when it came time for Luis Hines and Associates to call my insurance company so that I can get my medication they refused and gave me no alternative. I've been without medicine for 3 days and am currently dealing with brain zaps from not taking escitalopram. No one in the office is willing to help because the person responsible for that was out. Really strange Psychiatrists working there and had one call me a priviledged white boy, but he didn't know that I am Mexican and Nicaraguan

My experience with Dr. Luis Hines and Associates was an utter disaster. I never personally talked to Dr. Hines but I first saw Boby Ukken. He was rambling off symptoms the entire time I was trying to talk, I would say “no I don’t have that” but in my records he put that I did. It’s as if he wasn’t even listening, he just assumed he knew everything about me. I was already on medication, just met him, he didn’t even know me yet, and he decided to change up my medication a ton. I implemented one of the changes and it negatively affected me. Not only has this office been entirely unresponsive to my sick mother, but they ignored her calls and then texted her that they would no longer accept her insurance despite already organizing a contract with her. They continuously failed to provide her with a zoom link for appointments or call in advance to let her know that they would not be moving forward with the appointment. It's an entirely unprofessional group of workers, and, quite frankly, borders on medical malpractice. I would recommend that you go literally anywhere else.

I gave 3 stars because the "Associates" part is not half bad. The initial consultation was a nightmare. I read Dr. Hines little speech about accountability but what does that have to do with being extremely rude and taciturn to someone you just met? A client nonetheless. I would even understand if I had been awful to him but I felt disliked literally within the first minute. People with mental illness are vulnerable and tired. Health care is not cheap and isn't always accessible. I always feel a sense of embarrassment when seeking help but I do because I truly want to get better. He made me feel

I had a free consultation with Doctor Luis Hines, worst consultation ever. I have speak with others in the past; nevertheless, I want to try a different psychologist to see things in a different view. What a mistake, he was so rude, he listened for a minute and already told me what to do, instead of understand my feelings and emotions and evaluate them first. I’ve been struggling with mental illness for the past 13 years, so I just want to share my bad experience with him, so you can save your time and specially don’t got hurt by his attitude and unprofessional behavior.
