I attended the 'COMMENTARY AND PRACTICE OF THE 35 CONFESSION BUDDHAS'. I am so glad I went. This was a great session. The presentation was easy to follow and relevant to anyone. Gen Dorje incorporated humor which added such a warmth to the atmosphere. This location isn't on my side of town but I will travel out there again.

The most fulfilling and peaceful days of my life are often spent here at KMC Indianapolis. I began coming two years ago, originally driving almost an hour and a half to get here. I have since moved into Indianapolis, and am now very active with the center, and even teach a weekly class on Sunday mornings. The warm and friendly atmosphere, the beauty of the teachings, and the sincerity of the practitioners made my move to a new city feel like coming home for this country girl.

Dromtonpa was a famous Buddhist practitioner and teacher of great purity in Tibet around 900 years ago. Dromtonpa was a little unusual in the he was a lay practitioner - he was not an ordained monk. Our teacher, Mandy Vickery, is also a lay practitioner and has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. Her kindness, caring, warm heart as well as her wit and wisdom make her a very practical and approachable teacher indeed.
Dromtonpa Center has been named after this particular practitioner by Geshe Kelsang to emphasize the Kadampa teachings; teachings of great purity
