Marie-Yves Nadine Jean-Baptiste is the Managing Owner of The Saint Yves Law Firm. Marie-Yves comes from a working-class family and has spent a majority of her time connecting with people from all walks of life.
Relationships, marriage, children, and the many situations where they go wrong can lead to disastrous personal and financial consequences. Getting help to resolve your legal matter is an important step of the process and can give you peace of mind that your best interests are being protected during this sensitive time.
Planning for the future is topic that is both unique and very personal; it can also be overwhelming if you aren't sure where to start.

Everyone has their own needs and goals-- whether it's making a simple will stating your wishes as to who receives your assets upon death, designating what happens if you can no longer make your own medical decisions, or even structuring your estate in a way to minimize tax consequences and leave as much of your hard-earned money as possible to be distributed after you're gone.
Estate planning and administration are broad areas that revolve around creating, modifying, and executing plans for individuals related to distributing assets upon death, creating controls over their assets that function both during life and after death, planning to maximize the value of an estate, and designating authority or setting forth wishes in the event of their incapacitation or other scenarios in which there's the inability to make decisions on their own.
Death and taxes are inescapable in the United States, but that doesn't make the taxes any easier to prepare, audits less stressful, or tax codes and government agency procedures any less complicated.

It's important to have a skilled Maryland taxation attorney at The Saint Yves Law Firm to help when issues arise or you find yourself being contacted by the federal or state government; what you may not know is their preparation skills and helpful advice can help you avoid problems in the first place. Here are some important issues related to Maryland and federal tax laws and areas where problems often arise.

Marie was very accommodating to our families specific needs! She was very thorough with our trust planning as well as 2nd parent adoption. She was so sweet and let us bring our triplets to her office for one of our meetings as we didn’t have child care. Marie is definitely someone I would recommend to help with any of your legal needs! We are very grateful to her!

Marie is an exceptional lawyer. She took my case and guided me through each step. The one thing that I do not believe you find in a lawyer is 100% honesty and looking out for your welfare. Marie looked out for my welfare which now I do believe there are good lawyers out there with values. Thank you Marie for doing everything you could to assist me and listening to me when I was in tears. To all of you out there looking for a really exceptional lawyer, look no further, Marie is your answer.

Our first meeting, I arrived and realized I forgot my wallet at home and had no way to pay for parking. When I called her to reschedule, she insisted on paying for my parking instead so I wouldn't miss the appointment. It is this compassion and attention to detail that carried on through our entire professional relationship. She is kind and has such a heart for others. Our last meeting was at my custody hearing where the judge granted everything requested. Marie was kind, patient in answering all my questions and gracious every step of the way. She is knowledgeable and very professional but also
