Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a new FDA approved procedure for treatment resistant depression. Research studies have shown that TMS often improves or resolves symptoms in depression that have had limited or no response to treatment with medication. Because TMS acts focally on the brain it does not have the systemic side effects associated with antidepressants.

Depression can sap relationships, happiness, and productivity. Failed treatment can prompt despair. In these circumstances, TMS offers another option for improvement or recovery. TMS, by generating a focused, pulsating, magnetic field stimulates activity in brain structures involved in mood regulation.

She completed her residency at the University of Ottawa in Canada and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in the US. Dr Ardis' practice emphasizes the utilization of all available treatment modalities in Psychiatric treatment. TMS is an option in the care of many patients suffering from major depression. However in the efforts to eliminate depression, many times more than one simultaneous treatment approach works the best.

This business doesn't deserve ONE star. Literally the worst customer service you will EVER experience. Dr. Ardis and everyone she employs is an absolute joke. It takes weeks to get prescriptions signed or even get in contact with the personnel required to help you.
I needed documentation for my new job, a simple note signing off on current prescriptions and it took them over 2 weeks to send this email. I called them every single day and it always "Ardis wont be in until tomorrow." or "we're hoping she can get to it by today."
Today I called trying to find out where my prescription was that I

Dr Ardis office is one you do not want to go to!
My mom has been having some problems and she was referred here. Numerous times they called very late for appts but recently she had an appt scheduled on a Friday and was never called for the appt. We rescheduled for the following Monday and they once again never called even though my mom tried calling her office and was told she was about to call yet we’re saying they tried to call when she and I were sitting by her phone waiting for over 3 hours. They then rescheduled for us again and 30 mins after the appt time, we called and were told they

Ardis has a terrible practice. They gave me an appointment for 12:45 pm. But they are closed for lunch between 12:00 to 1:00 pm. I asked for them to call me about the conflict. Thirty minutes later no call. I call and the receptionist acted as if it was my fault. Conversation went down hill; I became an A-hole. It felt good 😌!!!

Dr. Ardis is the epitome of what is wrong with the mental health industry. I am a cancer survivor that spent the last year enduring 17 rounds of chemotherapy and 3 surgeries in the last 6 months. I was referred to this office after a mental health crisis in which I was severely mistreated (given unnecessary medications) and labeled with a diagnosis of bipolar from one interaction with an ER crew. I was wanting help getting OFF unnecessary anxiety medications and in less than an hour she was trying to write a prescription with no advice on coming off of the other medication which was the goal of

Have seen Ardis for a few years now, since she was on the Expressway. I’ve always had a great experience at her office. Not sure why the complaints, but Rose, the receptionist, has always been pleasant and sweet to me, and always has a smile. I’ve never had an issue with the cancellation fee but then I’m a responsible adult and make my appointments. Dr. Ardis and her staff are very knowledgeable about medications and have helped me a great deal. I feel both Ardis and Mike spend plenty of time with me and care about me. They’ve gotten me in with short notice when I’ve had some crises arise

The office and staff have been friendly and accommodating each time I've been in the office or called with any questions. I've never witnessed any negative experiences in the lobby as others have mentioned. Neneth is terrific. Willing to listen and work through each issue. Dr. Ardis reviews and discusses medication prescriptions with the patient, especially on the intake visit. My only down is that there is a wait. In my experience, I would rather wait for a good doctor than rush in to one that is sub-par.

After leaving an inpatient medical facility, I was excited for continuing my care. Now it’s 4 months later and I’ve only seen dr Ardis once. Her physicians assistants are good, if not rushed. The therapists in her office are hard to talk to and I found myself having to push the conversation to the issues that I was trying to get through. The therapist would then direct the conversation towards something trivial. I understand that that might be the important part, but it felt really dismissive.
My medications weren’t changed at all, which was frustrating, but not a dealbreaker.

The receptionist is one of the RUDEST and most unpleasant individuals I've ever encountered on the phone. The Office Manager Rhonda is also a very unpleasant person as well. Our son has been going to Dr Ardis for over 3 years. His appointment literally takes 5 minutes or less and not once can he ever get seen on time. Had to reschedule appointment after showing up an hour early and then waiting way past our appointment time to never getting seen due to the fact that Dr Ardis was running way behind and that we had to go to another appointment. After we paid our co-pay (which we never got to see

I see Michael who is one of Dr. Ardis' PAs. He actually listens and cares about your well-being. He is ALWAYS on time for his appointments. I have never had to wait on him. Corina is also great. She always gets my prescription sent over to the pharmacy quickly. However, I'm not a fan of Dr. Ardis. The few times I have had to see her instead of Michael I felt like she was not listening. She seems like she hates her job. I also agree with everyone else that the receptionist is rude.

I've been a patient for 1 year. Keep in mind that all of the reviews here are written by people struggling with mental illness. We have a tendency to be super-touchy or unrealistically optimistic. I'm trying be as objectively as possible. I've had both good and bad experiences here.
The Bad:
I'm not a fan of the cancellation policy...too strict, although I understand why.
I've had one interaction with the office manager, and she was impatient and rude.
I sometimes have to wait a long time for my appointment to begin.
The Good:
Everyone here has been very good to me with the exception of the
