Dr. Khansari is the best and he has such a great team! I knew l was in the best hands but l could not help being nervous lying on the chair. Then l was greeted with the most friendly dentist! I could tell that Dr. Khansari was beaming under his mask, because you could still see his smiley eyes and with the tone of his voice. I’m so glad I found this place. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I was treated for an gingival abscess that I had from my pregnancy. My dentist couldn’t help me, so they referred me to Dr. Khansari. My abscess has resolved since being treated.
I also decided to get a follow up teeth cleaning at this office because they specialize in periodontal care. I was so impressed with the teeth cleaning that I got from Erin. She is the best! I have never been to an American dental office that does a phenomenal teeth cleaning job. Erin took her time and knew what she was doing.

The care I received by 'Dr. K's' team was very impressive. The three people in the operating room, Dr. K and two assistants, was sensitive and efficient. It was clearly a team that knew how to work with each other. But the staff included two or three others outside of the operating room. Everyone was focused on my care in that same sensitive way. High marks to everyone.
One example is the list of suggestions for post surgery. One recommendation was a very specific icing method which I followed very carefully. On the next day I experienced zero pain or swelling in my jaw. This was quite a surprise

Dr Khansari was one of four top Periodontists I consulted about treatments/surgery for my advanced gum recession. During the consulting process, I learned much about the latest procedures being used. My choice was based on who I thought could give me the best long term results to save my teeth. That was Dr Khansari! He preformed an allograph procedure on my bottom 8 front teeth at one time. Dr. Khanzari and Team are AWESOME! I got sent there from my dentist as I was having some severe issues with my back gum, like where my wisdom tooth was. A lodged poppy seed that caused an infection and was getting worse and worse.
He was able to see me immediately after my dentist called it in, he eased the pain right away with his experience ad skill and got me in the same week for oral surgery. Be extremely careful with these guys. They're one of the most inflexible dentist location that you can work with. First of all they charge an exorbitant amount of missed appointment fee, and even if you do want to reschedule with them, they will still charge you the fee and won't deduct it from your procedure fee. Most other dentist location would be willing to deduct it provided that you still do the procedure with them. I would recommend people to stay away from this place as there are many other dentist that do the job just as well but are nicer to their patients.

My general dentist recommended a deep cleaning and I was looking for an in-network provider. I found Dr. Khansari online with many positive reviews. I scheduled a consult and after an exam he recommended deep cleaning treatment in two areas. He was very professional and thorough. The staff was friendly and the office was modern. I will mention that he is booked almost 4 months out so you do have to plan well in advance. However, after my consult I was fortunate enough to grab 2 cancelled appointments the same week so if you have flexibility in your schedule, you can get in.

Dr Khansari put my mind at ease explaining exactly what the gum grafting procedure would entail, and what to expect. He gained my trust immediately. This is the second time I have had the extreme pleasure to visit Dr. Khansari. The first time was for an implant that he performed for me a few years back. He did a phenomenal job and I have had absolutely no issues with the implant. Dr. Khansari is definitely one of the most honest and humble doctor/dentists I have ever seen. His work is perfection and he is humble about it. He NEVER says you need treatment if you don't. This is HUGE in my book. I just recently saw him for his opinion on my receding gums and if I needed grafting. Another Periodontist said I did but I wanted to get Dr. Khansari

I recently searched for a Periodontist near my home in Poway. Since Dr. Khansari has great patient reviews, I booked an initial consultation and found him to be professional, efficient and thorough in assessing my situation, with a calm and pleasant demeanor. Then I booked a perio-maintenance cleaning and was equally impressed with the dental hygienist who performed a meticulous and comprehensive cleaning and had a kind and pleasant personality. If I could, I would give even higher ratings to Dr Khansari & his fantastically supportive team. This was the fIrst time that I have ever had oral surgery & to tell you how anxious, I was, is an understatement. Just had my first post-surgery visit today & all was most successful & excellent. This is my first time giving myself a change to transfer my smiles, got recommend through one of my friend about this place. I gave it a try to booked a consultation for Dr Khansari looked at my situation, finally decided to Lazer and shapes my bones not sure what's that called, but for gummy smiles. My father was a dentist and I was my father's guinea pig for much of the technologies available at the time of his practice. There are always changing medical advances that make dentistry a practice. Dr. Khansari never made me feel like I was his guinea pig, but we did laugh about some of the antics I had to endure while being the youngest of my father's patients.
