The race features a LeMans start whereupon the drivers line up across the street from their cars and at the sound of the gun sprint over to their mounts, start the engines and peel out as fast as they can! The show this year was titled V8's in the Vineyard and featured Trans Am cars from the 60's and 70's.
Total restoration of a complete basket case. At some point the incorrect engine and gearbox had been installed into the car with a lot of modified parts. The car arrived as a bare body shell with what was left of the original parts thrown in boxes. We located the original engine and gearbox, which had been sitting in the dirt in someone's backyard for fifteen years.
This car was so rusty we could only salvage the front section of the body tub. High performance balanced and blueprinted engine, triple Strombergs, gas flowed cylinder head, roller rockers. Overdrive, 3.45 gears, custom burl walnut dash. Lowered suspension with competition springs and shocks, SS headers and exhaust, 16 inch Panasports.

Randy, the owner, is a complete British mechanic and auto historian. His prices are fair and he looks to improve your car, not just wait for it to breakdown. He freely offers guidance on minor self-repair for your car, again saving you money while allowing you, the owner, to get a little grease on your hands -- a huge, fun part of owning a TR6. Thanks, Randy
