Central Florida Awnings was started by Jamie Boval and his family in 2005 when they decided to leave Ohio in favor of Florida; a state they always loved. Jamie, his wife of 20 years and their three sons relocated to the Central Florida area looking to make the state they loved home for their family.
With 6 years of General Contracting experience from Ohio under his belt, Jamie decided to join the retractable awning business for several reasons. I feel that Central Florida Awnings mislead my 94 year old father and I in purchasing an awning from them by giving us false claims about the abilities of the awning.
Jamie Boval, the owner, came to my house to talk to my dad and I, about installing an awning. I told him my dad likes to sit outside and feed the birds, so I needed a cover to shield the sun and rain when he is outside. I told him I was debating on the awning versus a permanent cover. We cook out and I wanted to make sure that the awning would work, because otherwise, I told him I would pay extra and get a fixed structure.
