Our philosophy is to reward children with praise and positive reinforcement for a job well done while challenging them to want to progress to the next level. Our program is based on a "comfort zone" centered approach combined with patience, feedback and positive encouragement. This allows new swimmers to progress at a rate that is ideal for them while building confidence and positive feelings about being in the water.

The diving along the Gulf Coast is excellent. Whether you are interested in spear fishing, photography or just sight seeing, there are hundreds of sites just waiting for you. We can help you book trips out of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Pensacola, Destin, Panama City, and anywhere else along the gulf coast.
Our technicians are factory trained and certified, and work on virtually all makes and models. We stock service kits and parts for almost everything you can bring in. We are the guys that have those hard to find parts. Our Scuba Technicians represent more than 7 decades of experience. Our Master Scuba Technician has been servicing scuba gear professionally for over 25 years.

Excellent training, to say the least. If you want a crash course certification, GCD is not the place. Bob, Mike, Kyle and Hugh are excellent instructors and take scuba training very serious. We not only received our certification, we received a thorough course training, for diving in our area. Thank you GCD, you've introduced us to an amazing adventure, while preparing us for the inherent risks.

I love this place. We recently moved to Mobile and I promised my son I would get him scuba lessons. Not only was GDC the best price I found but the quality of the classes is outstanding. As soon as we walked in the door Hugh was there to greet us and make us feel at home. I don't think there's a question about scuba diving or scuba gear Mike can't answer and Kyle has to be the best instructor in the world. He is always smiling and when your dealing with an 11 year old is not always easy. He always made sure my son was having fun and always made feel like my son was safe. For the check out dives

I had to spread my lessons over about 2 months due to my work schedule. Every single class I took the instructors was nice and helpful as heck. If you was doing wrong they'd let you know. On my open water test the owner gave me that part where he'll swim to top really quick with you. Well, guess who totally forgot to exhale bubbles? Yes me but the instructor pulled me back down as soon as we started and pointed to my mouth. I then remembered. If he wasn't paying any attention to me, I'd popped my lungs. This is the best school to certify at. All levels that you can possibly want to learn. I really
