Students will learn the Art of Self Defense as well as master various weapons such as the nunchaku, bo, sai, kama, tonfa, escrima, and sword. All Classes are taught by two generations of certified Instructors who will guide each student through each program and level with praise, discipline and encouragement.

Ralph F. Kreimer began teaching in 1976 and opened his first school in 1978. From 1980 through 1989, he was the Chief instructor of the YMCA's karate program until the Spring of 1989 when he opened Kreimer's Karate Institute, Inc. in Frederick, Maryland. Grandmaster Kreimer provided his facility in 1995 to train the recruits of the Frederick County Criminal Justice academy.
Q: My child is already very energetic and I am afraid that he or she will use these newly acquired skills to hurt someone. What do you do about this? A: Proper ethics are taught at all Kreimer's Karate. Students are taught never to practice on their brother, sister, neighbors, and especially on anyone in the school yard.

Wonderful staff and instructors who show patience with the young students and provide a welcoming and friendly learning environment. They offered many opportunities during the COVID shutdown to keep my son engaged virtually, which provided a hint of weekly normalcy amid the quarantine. I highly recommend.

Kreimers karate is a great place to learn karate. If you're just beginning as a kid or even as an adult they take it slow, and they don't promote you until you're really ready. They treat you like family here and they treat you right which is really nice! they also have zoom classes available if you don't feel comfortable going into the studio because of coronavirus.

This place is amazing!! The instructors are patient and observant. They have a way of letting you know that you are doing it wrong without feeling singled out or silly. My son started there 2 months ago, he convinced me to join, and my daughter just started this week. It is a wonderful experience together to share as a family. Kreimer's really understand how important family is. Mr Adam and Mr Scott seem to have endless knowledge, energy, and patience and Ms Linda always meets you with a smile. I am so thankful that I found this place!!

I won't lie I did three yearswhen I was there in Maryland and I got to say they're one of the best and if you really want to know disciplining good technique I ask you kindly to go to this place because grandmaster Kreimer miss linda is one of my teacher mr. Having our grandson take karate lessons at Kreimer’s has been the most wonderful and rewarding experience for him and for us. He told us that he wished that we should have started him when he was five years old!

This is a really awesome Karate institute that teaches real karate and has a great respect for the martial art. This is a family owned and operated business. They show how important family is by offering big family discounts that no other place in town seems to offer. Not to mention the price without the family discount is already reasonable. They don't expect you to sign up for lengthy contracts, as everything is month to month. Ms. Linda is always friendly and is always available to answer questions during classes. Mr. Adam is great with our kids and our kids have very different personalities

When my son was 5 he expressed a interest in martial arts. I was excited for the physical aspect of it, but also for the potential help in his focus as he had been having a few issues in school.
I searched all over town for the right fit, but I kept getting frustrated by the outrageous membership fees, or that lack of interest on behalf of the instructors. They seemed only interested in money and promoting my child thru funding rather than rigor.
Finally, we found Kreimers karate. Gabriel has been a member for a little over 3 years now and he LOVES air there. He gets a variety of instructors
