Ric Seeling has been teaching Baton Rouge to dance for over 35 years. He began his teaching career in 1978 and taught in a downtown dance studio and LSU Leisure classes. Following his desire to make Ballroom Dancing available to students of all abilities and income levels, he opened his own studio in 1988.
The most popular social dancers are not necessarily the most skillful, but rather the ones who make clear to each partner how much that person's company is appreciated and enjoyed. Most people would rather not dance with someone who acts bored or put upon, no matter how amazing their dancing is! Q: Do I have to stay with one class the entire 6 weeks?

We decided to do some group fun with the company. I didn’t realize how productive it was going to be for us. Team building, trust, competition, laughs, what a wonderful time!! The owner is incredible!! Ric made me addicted to swing dancing. Can’t get enough! Very convenient location, large inside. Nice restrooms, bar inside!!! Huge space, lots to do. Would recommend any company to do this!!!!

Ric and his team make the lessons fun and they know how to tell you what you are doing and why. It not only helps the person he is speaking to but also lets others know what to expect if you are having troubles. And as he says a private lesson only helps. Great people person with all age groups. Thanks goes out to Ric, Melanie and all of their instructors.
