Sal's Pizzeria is a family restaurant that takes pride in preparing food the old, traditional way. Only the best ingredients are used in our homemade dishes, including sausage and meatballs. All dough and sauces are made fresh and we always use fresh vegetables. These qualities are just some of the many that make Sal's Pizzeria one of Ithaca's favorite restaurants.

After 10 years as a partner, Sal decided that it was time to embark on his own, opening Sal's Pizzeria in 1989. Joe Tilton came to Sal's Pizzeria in 1990. He brought with him several years of restaurant experience, beginning his pizza career in 1982 at Napoli's.

Veggies - fresh mushrooms, fresh green peppers, fresh onions, spinach, sliced fresh tomato, black olives, fresh garlic, homemade eggplant, pepperoncini. Gluten free pizzas are all 10. Plain. Topping. Per Slice. Each additional topping. All calzones are a single size (feeds 2-3 people), made with ricotta and mozzarella cheese & come with your choice of ONE topping (listed above).

I have been going to Sal’s for 30
Years! They have the best Pizza in the area, their wings are amazing and I love everything they have! Great place to eat and the Family that owns Sal’s Pizza are amazing! They treat you like one of the family! I would recommend going to Sal’s Pizzaria over any other restaurant in Ithaca!

Highly recommend the Pizza joint.
Pesto pizza was outstanding. We order well done pesto pizza with jalapeños, onions and green pepper. Spicy delight.
Veggie pizza was yummy too. We substituted mushrooms with pineapple.
This mom and pop pizza place is something worth trying and it's value for money and time. In the end my tummy was happy.
The helpers here are very friendly and accommodating. We are vegetarian family and we had no hard time explaining them anything. They really knew what we were talking and asking for.
