Import Specialty Service was established back in December of 1994 by Rod Kruse. Rod began his automotive journey at the age of 14 when he began working at Elmer's Automotive Repair under his father's mentorship. After Rod's father Elmer passed away in 1974, Rod began working as a technician in Anaheim, CA.

Was having repeated electrical issues with 2013 Honda Civic. Doug and (Kevin I believe?) were professional, thorough and thoughtful. They helped diagnose the issue, and walked me through how they landed to their conclusions. Most importantly, they helped navigate the history of the car and seemed to care about our solo car just about as much as I did. Very grateful for the help, and would recommend as a place to take your import car if you are completely confused and unsure of what to do.
