The Buck Horn began operations in 2004 by the current owner, David Galus. David got his start in the industry transporting senior citizens to medical appointments. He also drove a cab at night for extra money. At that time, Durango Transportation was the only taxi company in town. The Colorado Public Utilities Commission only allows one taxi permit for a town the size of Durango.
Formal service is billed by the hour. It is for passengers needing a car to wait for them. Formal service can meet a variety of needs such as waiting for a business meeting to adjourn, or a private plane to land, or a doctor's appointment to conclude. Our Basic services and Luxury services are very different.
Buck Horn offers the lowest airport shuttle rates between Durango and the Durango La Plata County Airport. We are extremely busy. Our Mercedes-Benz GL450 SUVs seat 6 passengers. This SUV has AWD and can get you and your party anywhere in our service area in most any conditions. Our black Ford Transit vans are great for larger groups. They can comfortably fit up to 14 passengers. We pride ourselves in the quality of our limo service being as polished as the finish of our coaches.
Buck Horn Limousine offers the only Airport Limousine Sedan Service in the Four Corners region of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. Executive Transportation services bill by the hour. We operate AWD Mercedes-Benz luxury sedans, Mercedes-Benz 7 passenger van, AWD Ford Transit 14 passenger vans, and AWD Mercedes-Benz GL450 SUV.

John was the best and straight forward guy, he helped me make sure my car wouldn’t get a ticket down town but knew I could drive so he asked if he could move my car, I said please he moved it got back in and drove us home no questions. I would recommend buck horn every day. They will make sure you get home or wherever you need to be. Bishop, Will, or John best guys to call ♥️

This company really helped us out. We flew into Montrose and were transported to Purgatory ski resort by Brett.
He made the pass through the mountains feel safe. He was is a very professional and attentive driver.
When our flight was rescheduled last minute on our return, they made arrangements to get us to the airport on time even on New Years Day!

We used Buck Horn Limousine to deliver our car to Silverton while we took the train from Durango. Our youngest is 1 and we felt going back on the train would be too much and wanted our car seats for the ride back. The service was amazing! Instruction on where to leave car/pickup car was clear. It was a last minute reservation and David was great! Thank you!!

I’ve tried multiple times to get a ride and they act like even if u give them 5 hrs to a day of a heads up like it’s not enough. I wanted to ride in class for a low price (basically their website) as I just got car parts I ordered and I am feeling so good right now. I also get hung up on all the time. Their website says they are cheaper by 5 bucks compared to Durango cab but what good is that if you can never get a ride and are always scoffed at by whoever is picking up the phone? Seems like you need to give them a 2 week advance for a 5 minute ride so if you’re a local or are here for a

I highly recommend Buckhorn! We needed a ride in a hurry from Pagosa Springs to Durango. I called and the phone was answered right away, they were at our door within 2hours and we had a fun chat with Donna on the drive into Durango. We then needed a ride from Durango to the airport very early the next morning and when I realized the hotel we were at did not have a shuttle service, I called Buckhorn again and they again provided excellent service! I added their phone number in my phone for future needs!

I am a regular Buckhorn customer, using their service an estimated 60-80 times yearly. I've been relying on Buckhorn for over 2 years now and they have yet to let me down.
