She has made me feel so welcome from the very first day I stepped into her office. I can't imagine being at any other doctor.

1. Takes 3-6 months to get a new patient appointment
2. You’ll wait upon arrival, they’ll ask you to do all the paperwork you did online.
3. You will never be helped appropriately or efficiently by calling in. Messages, even when urgent, will not be returned.
Case in point, my 3rd call today for an urgent appointment and I was told a nurse or NP would call be back to get me in the following day. Instead, I received an email confirming my appointment 6 weeks out.
I’m not sure how a group of black physicians who attest to caring for their community could do this poor of a job. Sadly, these

I had the most amazing OBGYN ever this past pregnancy! Dr. Terri-Lee Foster was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. The staff was amazing as well. I even met one of the other doctors within the WPG network during my stay at the hospital and even she was phenomenal. I was never confused or left wondering about anything when certain medical terms were uses. Dr. Foster and the nurses always made sure I understood. ❤ I highly recommend this practice especially for black women seeking a more relatable doctor and one who is familiar with how our bodies work

This office is TERRIBLE. I have been a patient for over 5 years and have visited this office not even a handful of times. This morning I was attacked with a NO BONNETS POLICY. This is not something that was posted on sign somewhere nor verbalized over the phone. Yet it was imposed on me as soon as I attempted to sign in. Nurse Witlow compared my bonnet more to a GUN vs the hijab 🧕 that I had mentioned. How careless. Obviously, they don’t give a hoot about losing customers/patients because my concerns weren’t addressed but more so challenged and disregarded. I attempt to support black women

By far the worst OBGYN in the city. They never answer the phone, ignore you in the waiting room, make numerous mistakes on charts and during appointments, and routinely call in the wrong medications to the wrong pharmacies. This is a big deal for me as I have advanced endometriosis and mistakes like this can land me in the ER. They also have not updated their phone services and routinely miss messages. Do yourself a favor and go to a different provider. I have been a patient of Dr. Terri-Lee Foster for the past 6 months and have even talked to the practice manager about these issues and nothing

I have not went to this location in 8 years, unfortunately methodist made me an appointment in Midtown instead of Germantown location since it was the quickest appointment. As soon as I got checked in, updated everything. One of the receptionist was talking about me and my insurance. Not even 15mins of being there. I got up told them "I heard EVERY SINGLE WORD THEY SAID". I left and told them I'll rather go the Germantown location. Dr. Anderson is a wonderful Doctor and I would rather been seen by her at the Germantown location. It's bad enough that my own race, don't know how to act right sometimes

I've lived in four states and visited OBGYN offices in all of them. Dr. Terri-Lee Foster and all other doctors in that office should be ashamed of the lack of professionalism at the front desk. I've seen better at Animal Hospitals! That's the staff and the animals. The lack of care, concern, cooperation and communication between staff and patient is pathetic. The "turn-over" rate should prompt drastic changes! I pray for the health and safety of the patients.

I was looking for contact information and came upon these reviews. I just want to say that Dr. Carter saved my life. She is the most amazing doctor I've ever had (OB or otherwise). She not only saved my life when I was in my early 20s, she helped me through a difficult pregnancy and possibly saved the life of my unborn child. Many of these reviews are for the front office staff, whom I've never had any issues with, but don't let these reviews make you think that Dr. Carter is not phenomenal. You would be lucky to have her as your doctor.

If I could give them no stars I would. I took my daughter to the poplar location and the staff was very unpleasant. I told the dr my concerns and she said she was going to handle it. I really liked the physician but the staff was VERY VERY unprofessional. The next time I went to the office I had to speak to the receptionist twice, to get her to speak back. She act as if she was mad that patients were coming in. Sorry, but I wouldn’t refer this office.

I agree with all the reviews!! Dr. Lanetta Anderson has been my OB for my last two pregnancies, they are an AMAZING PRACTICE. However I cannot get over how HORRIBLE the receptionist are at the Germantown location. I actually started scheduling at the Midtown location, which is 30 minutes away, just so I wouldn't have to call Germantown!! They are rude and leave you on hold for well over 10 minutes and don't care!! Again I love Dr. Anderson but the front desk is awful!

Before becoming a patient, I experienced Dr. Carter through a close friend having difficulty conceiving. I went with her for procedures and office visits for months before her conception. Dr. Carter was patient, thorough and comforting all along the way.
So years later when my doctor of 21 years refused to give me information about having a UFE, I sought out Dr. Carter. She brought me in for a consultation and an exam. Gave me information and referred me to a Radiologist who could perform the procedure. I consider switching to Dr. Carter as one of the BEST decisions in my life.

My primary doctor set up an appointment for me with Dr. Teri Foster. She included my insurance information on the referral. I live over an hour away from the office. When I arrived no one was at the window so I sat there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come to the window. Once she showed up and called me up there she informed me that they didn’t take my insurance. She then asked me if my primary doctors office knew my insurance info. I was appalled. Of course they know my info. I called my doctors office and spoke to the lady that handles referrals. She said that she spoke to Seneca and

I had scheduled an appointment a month in advance and took off work. I come to the office, and due to a power outage that happened in the morning of yesterday, it was closed today. They had a whole day and a half to call their patients. Only a piece of paper saying they are going to redirect patients to another location was provided on their door. No call was ever made to either inform me or reschedule me. For a specialist office, this was not only extremely inconvenient, but unprofessional. And with no surprise, I’m still waiting for a call back.

I had an appointment here but cancelled because whoever is the receptionist is was very rude over phone. The phone operator is the first impression. Some people are already nervous to be coming to the doctor and have to deal with rude customer service? Staff should be required to do customer service courses before interacting with patients!

I called as a new patient at 15 weeks, transferring from a Dr. in Boston. I told the receptionist that I had a referral from my insurance company for Dr. Lanetta Anderson and asked when the soonest I could get an appointment would be. The woman said the Dr. is not accepting new patients until December. I asked if any other physician was taking patients sooner. I was put on hold several times-at 7, 10:32, 12:30, and 14:58 minutes someone got on the phone and asked how they could help me. One of those times they checked to see if they took my insurance then suggested I call my insurance company for

I had a stillbirth while being cared for by Dr. Carter. I do not blame her. When I got pregnant again, I had the feeling that she didn't want me as a patient. The feelings were confirmed when she suggested that I find another doctor at 17/18 weeks pregnant (It can be hard to find a new doc when you've had a still birth... and she knows this). She'd prescribed me medicine that I'm allergic to (contains gluten) and she insists that it doesn't. You can simply go online and see that it does. I asked how she came to the conclusion that I needed the medicine, and the answer

The customer service is horrible! Booked a appointment two weeks in advance. Making sure they accepted my insurance. Once I got to the appointment they said they couldn't find my name under my insurance. Called my insurance immediately and they said everything was correct and my insurance is up-to-date. Took 30 minutes to settle the situation and they told me I had to rebook my appointment because it took so long! Never going back.

I often wonder how my whole pregnancy would have played out had I not stumbled upon a phenomenal OBGYN such as Dr. Belvia Carter. I was extremely worried when I had to switch from the Midtown location of Women's Physician Group to the Germantown location at 5 months pregnant (Midtown is only CNAs- the doctor's who deliver are all at the Germantown location.) I loved the CNA I had been working with up till that point, and had no clue what I was getting into. Luckily for me, I don't think there could be a better fit had someone invented an eHarmony for making baby doctor matches
