A proper estate plan not only settles the estate after your death but also plans for a possible incapacity. Since 1993, I have been blessed to help thousands of people with disabilities - both children and adults. I am grateful that more than half of my new business comes from referrals of past clients or other attorneys.

If you have been denied by the Appeals Council (the last level of administrative appeal) I would be happy to evaluate your case for possible appeal to the Middle District or Southern District Court of Florida. I am a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives (NOSSCR) as well as a member of the Florida Bar.
Services
Attorney Bradley Keith Boyd has helped people appeal denials on claims for Social Security Disability since 1993. I had just started my law practice in Melbourne Florida and a lawyer friend of mine suggested I look into this field of law. He was representing a few people before the Social Security Administration in addition to his personal injury practice.
I have 3 pieces of advise for anyone who can no longer maintain fulltime employment due to a medical impairment or combination of impairments. If you have been working and paying taxes for at least 5 years, you are probably insured for disability benefits. You need 20 quarters of coverage in the last ten years to be currently insured.
A: If you are an adult, review my explanation of SSA's 5 step process for determining eligibility here. If the claimant is a minor child, review my explanation of SSA's process for determining eligibility here. A: Most people are denied disability on their initial application and after their first appeal.
If you die with assets in your name, a probate court must transfer the assets to your beneficiaries. The Will does not avoid probate; however, it gives you some control over the process. Essentially, the Will instructs the probate judge who you trust to represent the estate, ensures creditors are paid, ensures beneficiaries receive the proper amount.
If you are outside of these counties but still need representation for a federal court appeal, call the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives lawyer referral service at 800-431-2804. Just tell them where you live and they will provide you with several names of qualified representatives.

Bradley Boyd and his team were instrumental in securing disability benefits for our son. His knowledge and experience were evident in his relationship with us, his understanding of the SSA process, and especially during the ALJ hearing. He was prepared for the hearing and his court room skills and expertise were persuasive and convincing. We have no doubt he was the key in achieving the successful results from this hearing. We heartily recommend he and his office to any who need help with the SSA disability process.

Bradley and his staff where very prompt on returning my initial call. They knew exactly what I needed to do to help get my claim approved. They accomplished in two month’s what my previous attorney couldn’t do in three years. I am very appreciative of their work.

Hats off to Attorney Boyd and his firm. Can not say enough good things. I was overwelled with the Social Security Disability application process. I handed it over to Attorney Boyd and his office staff and they handled my claim in a professional and caring manor. I would recommend them whole heartedly.

I wish I had gone to Mr. Boyd when I started this disability process. I had THE WORST attorney at the beginning. I got all the way to the first hearing and my former attorney did absolutely nothing - not even a question. I was ready to give up even though I had a good claim.
Upon recommendation, I made an appointment and saw Mr. Boyd. I had prepared to hear that there was nothing more that could be done. Instead, I found a respectful, professional, intelligent and caring man who was ready to give it his all. There was not a doubt that we were facing an uphill battle starting with US court but

Mr. Boyd as an attorney is excellent in every way! He's patient, kind and compassionate. He's diligent and won't give up on your case no matter how bad it looks. If you want an attorney who will fight for you, Attorney Boyd is the one who will fight to the bitter end. He's honest and I would recommend him over any of these other attorneys who don't want a difficult case and certainly don't care about you.

I am writing on behalf of my wife who required Mr. Boyd's legal services for her disability case. Mr. Boyd is very professional, knowledgeable, responsive and caring, and he successfully pleaded her case and got her disability compensation. His staff is absolutely wonderful. They constantly kept us up to date on the lengthy process. They were very timely in getting us papers that needed our attention. And there spirit and kindness is something rarely seen these days. Thank all of you at the Bradley K. Boyd firm for helping us.

Mr. Boyd is awesome! He is very considerate and thoughtful. I Applied for Social Security disability and was denied three times. When I went to his office I met Regina Patty Rene and Mr. Boyd. They made me feel very comfortable. They were all very nice to me very professional and sweet. When I talked to Mr. Boyd about my case he listened to me. I felt very at ease. He took my case and it did not take long before we won. In the meantime he also referred me to an neurologist Dr Weiss who is incredible. I thank Mr. Boyd for that so much. He is a very caring man. I want to let everybody know what an

I was searching for someone to help me get SSI, when I got connected to Bradley Boyd. I had applied back in 2013 for disability and was denied. I had the privilege of meeting Bradley Boyd in 2019 and I was very enthusiastic that I did. He was very confident that he could help me to win and I was relieved that I met him. He listen to me as I told him how I had applied in past and lost. He was very attentive and encouraging. He gave me information and guidelines to follow. I must confess that he won my case and I would recommend anyone to him.
