Services
Aquasource Solutions has the capability to perform field testing for secondary contaminants such as pH, hardness or iron content, which may determine a need for corrective equipment or indicate a performance issue of an existing water treatment system. This however, should not be considered a substitute for an independent Pennsylvania DEP certified lab analysis.
This includes water softeners, RO units, iron, arsenic and carbon filters, as well as refrigeration filters. Some types of systems do not tolerate high levels of chlorine, or will remove chlorine. It is recommended that you have a repeat bacterial analysis performed approximately 5-7 days after a negative chlorine residual test result.
Aquasource Solutions offers a wide variety of water softener solutions. Water softening is the removal of calcium, magnesium, and certain other metal cations in hard water. The resulting soft water is more compatible with soap and extends the lifetime of plumbing. Water softening is usually achieved using lime softening or ion-exchange resins.
Arsenic contamination of groundwater is a form of groundwater pollution which is often due to naturally occurring high concentrations of arsenic in deeper levels of groundwater. Arsenic contaminated water typically contains arsenous acid and arsenic acid or their derivatives. Their names as "acids" is a formality, these species are not aggressive acids but are merely the soluble forms of arsenic near neutral pH.
Iron is a naturally occurring element in the earth's crust and tends to leave a reddish-brown residue in water that tastes unpleasant and stains clothing, therefore removal is required. It is recommended, however, to check to see if the iron is geological or residue from water pumps with iron parts.

We recently moved to a new house and had some bacteria issue with our well. Matt from Aqua Source came out and gave us some extraordinary service. He didn't try to sell us something we don't really need, though he easily could have. He said he could sell us a $1500 UV light system, but "you don't really need it". The same with an RO filtration system. We were surprised and pleased with his professional integrity. I would not hesitate at all to use Aquasource for any future needs we have. Well done!

Working with Aquasource Solutions was a great experience. Two words. Life Changing. Our water softner has given us softer skin, (my daughter's was terrible before) smoother hair and protection for our appliances. The RO system is perfect too, we rid ourselves of buying bottled water! Matt suggested a great faucet and installation of both systems was seamless.

My acid neutralizer died and I needed a replacement. Aquasource responed to my call within 15 minutes and were out to my house that afternoon to give me a quote. They came and installed a new unit on the weekend so I didn’t have to take off work. Having a well I have run into several techs over the years that had no idea how to service the units. Matt was totally knowledgeable about wells, my unit and answered questions I had about my water softener and u-v system. The installation was quick and efficient with no mess. I was having issues with my water softener. I called a few different service providers. Most of them were more interested in selling me solutions that I didn't really need. My experience with Matt Horvat from Aqua Source was very different than the others.
