I'm Ashley Merlin, a locally based freelance photographer. I started my professional photography business in 2002 covering the greater New Orleans and Gulf Coast area. I have both corporate and private clients, and have photographed everything from editorial to publicity, lifestyle, entertainment and special events. Projects have included large installations at hospitals to photographing a convention to helping clients select prints for their homes.

It all began in middle school when my parents bought me my first camera, which I still have! Through high school, college and now as a freelance photographer, my camera has taken me all over the world. I love photographing nature, music, food, architecture, Louisiana, Mardi Gras, conferences and conventions, products and food, travel and events.
