We will begin classes in September with a hybrid approach. We will be offering in-studio class to as many students are allowed by law. Classes will be streamed via Zoom for anyone who is more comfortable dancing from home, or if we max out our class size limit. Either way, we will continue to provide the highest quality training, with a faculty that is unrivaled in Sussex County, just as we have for the past 38 years.

Services
Specially designed programs for our youngest students! Classes include singing, dancing, sign language, musical instruments, crafts and story-time; all of which can be adapted to your child's age and ability. The amount of heart filled dedication you put into performances like today's is what I live for. Thank you so much. I've loved the Ballet Barre since I was 3 years old and look forward to coming back each year. Thank you for being a wonderful dance teacher and instilling such great attributes in your students.
Celebrate your child's birthday at our studio! The one-and-a-half hour parties are filled with great music, dance and games. Parents are invited to videotape, photograph and participate in any of the fun activities. The last 20 minutes of the party are for snacks, pizza, birthday cake and opening presents.

In light of the new recommendations from Governor Murphy, we have made some decisions that will affect our students and their families.

The Ballet Barre is a wonderful dance school, even for the youngest of dancers just starting out. The school is very organized and professional but still personable, and the instructors are very friendly, caring and patient. This was the first year for my young daughter, and the instructors were great at finding a balance between teaching her so many new techniques while also keeping her excited, engaged and having fun.

The Ballet Barre offers quality dance instruction in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The teachers are caring and very professional. The studio is recently renovated and beautiful, and the communication from the owner/director is clear and informative. All of the staff and more experienced dancers went out of their way to encourage my daughter and help her feel comfortable for her first dance recital. You won’t regret joining the Ballet Barre family!!

My daughter didn’t start dance class until March. Most girls do dance September-June so we started most of the way through the season, but heather and the teachers made sure my daughter caught up with the other girls. I was worried my daughter wouldn’t go on stage because she’s so shy, but they encouraged her and she had such a blast! I highly recommend the ballet barre to anyone looking for dance classes for children of any age! We will definitely keep coming back! This studio is the best!

Beautifully run studio with a warm and friendly environment. The instructors are all just fantastic, and the owner Heather goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a wonderful and encouraging experience. This was the first year of dance for our two young daughters, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We are looking forward to many memorable years ahead.

I danced at the studio for 10 years after switching from a different studio. The teachers are incredible and taught me so much. The environment is very welcoming and professional and I would recommend this studio to anyone whether they have been dancing for years or just getting started.

An amazing school great for both serious dancers and one who just want to have fun. Welcoming environment and wonderful teachers. I went there 30 years ago and now send my daughter.
