For more than 65 years. New Jersey School of Ballet has provided top quality instruction for thousands of students ages 4 through adult, from beginners through professionals. The School's program is designed for those who aspire to a career in dance as well as for those who want to enjoy an excellent form of exercise.
New Jersey School of Ballet maintains an outstanding faculty of professional teachers. All have performed with internationally-known ballet companies such as American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, The Kirov, Joffrey Ballet, The Bolshoi, Harkness Ballet and many others. In addition to their extensive experience in ballet, many of the teachers have danced on Broadway and appeared on television.

Services
Intensive level students are provided the opportunity to learn various roles for New Jersey Ballet Company's professional productions. Students receive hours of coaching with select students afforded the opportunity to perform on stage with New Jersey Ballet Company. Students from Beginner II level and above are eligible to audition for children's roles in New Jersey Ballet Company's annual production of Nutcracker.
Audition date must be scheduled in advance. You may not turn in the registration form on the day of the audition. Registration forms are available at the ballet studios or online. Please return completed forms to the office with payment or email Toni@njballet.org. Cash, Check and Credit Cards are acceptable forms of payment.
All divisions in dance instruction offer graded classes for beginner, intermediate, advanced and professional levels. Preparation for academic ballet. Ages 4-6 years. Academic Ballet. Technical training; the basis of all dance movement. The following classes are added to the student's schedule depending on the individual's progress and as the program becomes more intensified.

I highly recommend any and every class at New Jersey Ballet Company and School for adult beginners like myself (male adult btw), adults who have ballet experience but have not taken classes in several years or if your new and want to learn.
The staff does a great job keeping everyone safe. The NJBCS maintains strict safety protocols and surpass the recommended guidance’s. Everything from temperature checks, masks and properly marked corridors with social distancing awareness signage. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly between classes and dancers are allowed in after they have been sanitized.

My 5 year old daughter has been with NJBallet for two years. We jus finished the last ballet class of 2020(virtual) last weekend with mixed feelings. Can’t express enough how much we appreciate the wonderful classes that have kept us going in the past half year. It gave us a sense of awareness, of the beauty of art and the hope of life. My is 10 years old, and she wants to be a prima ballerina. I always want to sing her up for New Jersey Ballet ,and she stared this year finally. She loves the classes and the interaction with her teachers. She is also taking Jazz, contemporary, hip hop. She is very excited to start her point classes. When I see her dancing make me so happy and proud. The staff is amazing; every time I called or email them Toni always got back to me . My daughter said ,that , she will be at NJ Ballet for a long time. Thank you so much.

Our 10 year old has been a student at the school for 5 years. We have seen and watch her grow tremendously over the years not just in ballet, but in her poise, work ethic and confidence. We recently started our 5 year old daughter as well. The staff is amazing, the teachers professional and meticulous and the facilities foster a great environment for learning. This is a school for students who want to learn ballet which also helps them in many aspects of school and life.
